discussion going on here is bring me close to BRV day by day
Today I visited Honda Peshawar with family. we are 6 including mother. Saw civic also. Definitely civic has much more features then BRV. One has to accept. But lacks pleasure of having all family members fit in to gather. On the other hand. BRV will make our dream a reality of traveling all together with ease and comfort.
Moreover, they offer me immediately delivery with my name in invoice with own of 80k. Own has really gone down and I foresee that it will go down in next couple of weeks.
Bit confused to get it immediately or wait till January delivery to get 2018 model. Do not have any urgency.

I think in Punjab they charge life time token tax. If for next 10 years.

Excellent handling & driving pleasure.
Have tested it on Pir Sohawa and Murree with 7 persons with Ac switched on, good experience with 7 persons.
Its a must buy if you travel a lot with 6-7 persons.

We have both brv and honda city

In my opinion honda Brv is way better in every aspect
You get better handling
Better road grip
Better audio system
The bass and audio quality of honda brv is awesome
City's audio system is also good..but brv's is better
The look kf honda brv is sporty
While honda city is just like a small city car
You got a seven seater suv in 2.3m
rather than a regular 5 seater that costs 2.1m
Overall performance and everything of brv is better
The suspensions felt a bit of stiff at the start..but now it is awesome

It gave a maximum average of 16 km/l which is the best in the class

We went to hills on it and never felt the car was under power
According to some sources
Though both city and brv are 1.5
But brv is 120 hp while city is 116hp

A very bad point is the high token tax in Lahore. 23,000-24,000 around.

This is too much. i have complained on honda site but I am still waiting for an answer. They must contact the relevant authorities and get this corrected forthwith.

As I mentioned before, I am not going to indulge in any debate related to BRV.
I have no plans to sell my BRV or City at the moment.
I have just given my opinion, you may or may not like it.
Do let me know what is so wrong in my comment above in a private message so that I ensure that nothing wrong is posted in future.

A plus point with BRV, the 2nd layer seats are fold-able and can be inclined, specially when your child wants to sleep, that works in my case
The trunk space in BRV is more than the one in City [if the 3rd row is folded for luggage purposes]
I had the 2016Model city with an Average of 14/16 KML in City/Hwy respectively and i am surprised to see the fairly equal economy of BRV -AT, with better ground clearance and an SUV look.

I have bought BRV manual and I am satisfied with my decision. In manual you can control mileage. Went to pc bhurban and it gave me 14 average. all family comes in the car and I also have corolla 2007 gli but for 5 people it is tight.

Good ground clearance , but next year when i will allah willing travel to Hunza then I will come to know if ground clearance is okay or not.

you have to use 6th gear to get proper mileage as its gearing is short and putting sixth gear reduces engine noise. Around 2,650 rpm at 100 km speed . in my corolla it shows 3000 rpm at 100 km. Drive with the eco light on and you get good mileage.

CVT model i don't like because if anything happens to its gears the cost of new one is horrible. More than 10 lac rupees. This gear cannot be repaired as compared to normal automatic gears.

I have returned from Kalam and road is broken up severly in around 11 places from Bahrain to Kalam.

at 2-3 points my brv was having problems climbing up the broken roads. its tires were slipping a lot (original tires). and in the last climb i could smell the tires burning (first broken point after bahrain or last broken point before bahrain).

I have manual brv and i am sure that if it had been a cvt, it might not have climbed at all

I’m planning a trip to kalam (Again). Last year the road was pretty okay. So just wanted to ask if there has been some construction work going on for the bad patches ?

There isnt' any construction going on over there. I have asked around and people are saying that now they will repair the bad roads when CPEC is complete
