salam, after reading all your view I would like to add few points of my own,
at the very beginning I was very skeptical of CB150F for having bigger bore and same 125cc engine. I researched a lot as I was planning to buy a bike and was interested in a motorcycle which will me comfortable to ride on tours.
GS 150 was the obvious choice as every one was suggesting despite the lacking of MOLA 150 however the things which were a concern for me was the frame quality issue and lack of proper braking along with seat design. To prep it for tours we have to go for many changes in GS. Yamaha YBR/G was a 125cc although of good quality how ever I was not impressed by 125 category.
1 of my friend bought CB150F and I had a chance to take it on relatively medium trip to Ranikot fort from Karachi i was nervous as i have heard rumors of seizing engines and what not. My friend had installed after market tires 110/90 18 dual purpose shinko rear and 90/90 18 on-road front tyre this was another reason as the pair of tyres were not a match.
This 500 km round trip gave me a fair time to analyse and observe the short comings and positive outcome of this motorcycle which are as follows:
Ride is comfortable due to sitting posture
Engine is equally powerful compared to GS (if not more)
Ride quality is way smoother than GS
I was able to stand and ride comfortably off road compared to GS or YBR G
Was better in riding against the head wind coming to KHI (people who have ridden to KHI facing headwind will understand) max speed when facing head wind was 95 KM/H
more stable in a straight line as compared to GS
Now I am not against GS or YBR by any means as they were the pioneer to bring change in the local market. I might be thinking to buy this motorcycle as Derbi ETX is very expensive for a 150 cc. CYCLONE R1 is approx equivalent in price to Feugo Tekken 250 which around 350k still out of reach.
I am not a Honda Fan Boy by any means although my friends had DELUXE125 cg 125s I have ridden many motorcycles in 150 class and In my opinion CB 150F is the motorcycle I can spend my money on.
