I wouldn't call it 'trash'.
Honda has strict QC (Quality Control) over its products. Now keep in mind that by 'Honda'; I don't mean 'AHL'. I mean REAL JAPANESE HONDA. So it doesn't matter where they're assembled.
Tell you what; The CB500Xs you see in our Dolphin Force are made in Thailand but go over the Internet and you'll see everyone praising their built quality, attention to detail and super smooth engines. Thing things are build to last at least 2 decades and it's a great decision from our government's end to buy these sturdy bikes for the force.
Not convinced yet? Well...
Even iPhone X is "Made in China"!
I once had a chance to inspect The CBF closely and I couldn't' find any huge deficiencies in build quality. The gaps between panels are small which is a good sign of quality, everything seems to fit nicely, the bike had no shakes and rattle and felt pretty sturdy and rock solid. I must say that it felt MUCH BETTER than the likes of GS150 and Storm 125. On par with The YBR which is a decent achievement.
Personally; I still think that The YBR has a slight edge as it doesn't use that much plastic but overall; The CB150F is a decent package as well. But given its hefty price-tag and just a 25cc displacement advantage over the YBR; it's best to avoid it!
Good Day!
