My 98 cd70 goes up to 90km

CD70 or the meter ?
What's the accuracy of your meter ? Which brand is it ACL/Alson ?
Have u verified it with ulysse speedometer app ?

My doodh wala also claims his YB100 Royale 1990 model does 120+ ..............because it's japani

Meter is Alson i think. didn't checked the accuracy though. how to use ulysse app?

Don't know about YB100 but RX115 sure goes beyond 120 easily.

Congratulations on the purchase.
60~70 km/h is no biggie for a CD 70 in average condition. Sometimes valve clearance can be the issue. Set the air-fuel ratio, change the lubricant, adjust the clutch cable, if you feel that it is not properly disengaging the transmission then check for worn out cable and replace it accordingly.
Gather information yourself instead of believing and getting done whatever the mechanic suggests.

Itni jaldi clutch plates farig nai hti. Simple clutch adjustment ka masla ha.
Get the clutch cable tightened and it should be fine.

jahan tak bt rahi speed ki to CD would do max 75-78km/hr. Dont expect performance of Chondas from it, it's all about economy.

Does 90~95 km/h on Nippon Seiki, however needs a long patch to attain that speed.
