try good plug to get correct reading.. also meters are not reliable .. you should first try to verify that the meter is showing some decent accuracy .. try comparing with gps..
clean the carb properly ..
it helps to clean the carb from someone who has compressed air .. dont use that too often .. just once in a while .. and also you must give full tun speed once in a while ...
make sure all setting are at default .. in that case the slide needle is in the middle of the c clip.
and also adjust the idle rpm .. dont let it too low it is not good for engine health .. and dont set it to high .. just set it enough that when you stop ant signals or start it cold it doesnt stops..
if thorough cleaning is not doing good .. look at the engine health . how old is it ? is it reducing engine oil ? any loss of power at any range of race ?
make sure the wire connected to the plug is ok and making proper contact and is not corroded..
if nothing works .. just try full tun speed test if avg is decent then only problem is slow jet which costs 35rs for replica .. which sometimes works ok like janyan other times it doesnt works .. and genuine is a sure shot .. it works but is expensive probable 150rs ..
do not give your old jet to mechanic keep it with youself ..
if consumption is drastic at high speed then you may need slide needle .. or its kit..
if its not the engine issue then its the carb issue ...
