Front is legit but in rear setup drum brake is still there. So perhaps it is just for show shaw.
Btw curious to know what is on swing arm and exhaust plate? Is it a led strip?

Congratx on your new purchase,
btw why u have ultered ur bikes original brakes setup with a local one.
brakes are most important part if suddenly any of these brakes stop wprking and ur above 40-50 kmph what will u do?
original is original dear i know that quality is not very good of brakes given by ahl but atleast we have satisfication of originilty!!

there is no local in disc brakes for motorcycles as for as i know
most disc brake setups are taken from quality bikes
i think he has installed front disc brake of Honda Deluxe
so there should be no doubt on its performance

Above modifications are excellent but i guess it would be hard to drive bike like CG
with dual disc brake specially the rear one here people are not very used to it
disc brake is very response with slight touch of finger it response
and it is recommended to use finger to use disc brake so i am worried about rear disc
brake setup in this CG i mean with slight force on pedal at high speed that service rear tyre
would skid and CG would lost control would easily slip

CG125 have absolutely no grip on its rear end, when on high speeds (higher than 60kmph specifically). I have mentioned it above that CG125 relies 80-90% on its front braking power, so having a disk at the front makes total sense (still needs slightly wider tire at front for maximum grip while braking)

Rear disk brake setup will be a total killer on this bike, and i dread to think what would become of the rider at high speeds. Can't comprehend WHY the owner have chosen it.

Anyway, even if this bike is not owned by sualehsmarty, i would still like to have a word with the owner and ask a few questions about these mods.

I hear Deluxe forks are longer, and may still require some mods. Don't they have different frames as well?

Longer are better i think as it will raise the front end. And you mean its not bolt-on fit?

our member @superpower have done this with his 125cc super power deluxe, if one gets the complete setup hardly a day to get it fixed.

Rear disc brake is just hazardous on this bike with no weight

but if used by a user who have experience on bike disc brakes ... than not a big deal to get use to it. and to understand bike behavior as needed.

Still, disc brake is not ment for CG, since 1970 no disc brake in CG125 by the manufactures --- after market add-ons will have -ve effect in controlling the bike.

WRONG.

During its life, many things were changed in CG125. Smaller Drum being replaced by Bigger Drum, and then after many years replaced by a Disc Brake. There were some electric improvements as well as CDI conversion from Point.

All of this was done Officially. Check the Wikipedia Page for (almost) full fledge information on this.

And if only we had spare parts available at our disposal ... Bolt to Bolt fittings for disk brakes can be obtained for these models ... which won't need any modifications at all, just replacement of a few parts.

But the atlas group is afraid of price raise, plus they want to keep the same old classy image to our narrowed customer ship.

If Atlas makes its OPTIONAL in CG with extra cost to have:-
- Front Disc Brake.
- Rear Dics Brake

While keeping the classy look and I am sure the shokeen fellows will pay the extra price to make it modern yet classy.

Again for this CG Frame I am doubt full to her behavior with disc brakes and bumpy seat.
