Im not sure wat knocking is in city 2011 automatic. The problem i have is that on acceleration instead of a brrrrrrrrrrrrr sound i get a peeeeerrrrrrrrrrr sound like kind of rattling of dry leaves!!! Is it knocking?Its done 11600 km
pick up problem in honda city 2011 it is on petrol and i dont want to shift my car on cng. Honda company advised me to go for Hi octane but it didnt work. Can any one advise me now what to do ?

drive city 2010 on petrol and pick is perfect in all gears.it even accelerates from 0 in 2 nd gear easily

I am driving city 09 for last 2 years. never faced such issues. However, I believe the quality of petrol encourages engine to knock. So never compromise on quality of petrol. Honda dealership is very expensive regarding services. They always try to replace parts than figuring out the real issue.
My 2010 city faced the same issuesknocking and horrible pickchanged the spark plugs to platinum improved abitbut knocking off and on and pick was not the same what i expected
the new 2013 city I also have which does not seem to have that issue
