More Zinc and Calcium in Lube oils and Maanganese MMT in Gasoline are the main cause of Premature Cat Con clogging for which SN grade oil with specifically lower acceptable Ca and Zn should be used.....
As both agents are needed but in low quantity in the additive package for cleaning and some of ash deposits needed on valve seat inserts for proper sealing of intake and exhaust valves...

You are having a thorough knowledge on the subject
and being 3S dealers of Induatrial Gas engines we are continuously in touch with oil companies and have thorough knowledge having latest lube oil recommendation Service Bulletins shared by OEMs...
Even our technical support department continuously analyzes the TAN, TBN, Fe, Tin, Zn, Na, Ca etc.....

We use to analyze oil samples every 500 hours for the Gas engines running under our O & M.

Talking about cars. Using PAO oil is the first thing to be prefered, otherwise bare min SN grade oil with recommended viscosity grade as per owner manual....

Ethanol must be introduced.

MMT in fuel must be minimized.....or currently use HOBC from Total dedicatedly as it is less pron to knocking and clogging CAT CON.

Correct, but then PAO also has grades. I think upto 4 is max.

One main one is Lead. Which is now obsolete. But I still doubt that in our country lead is being added to improve fuel quality.

Second is engine operational issues, like misfire of spark plug causing unburnt fuel into the exhaust through the CAT.

Obviously.... True indeed but that one comes to know easily with check engine light and specific fault code on anlyzer....

Fourth is weak engine (excess engine oil being burnt during combustion).

Poor sealing of piston oil rings causing oil to enter combustion chamber / or engine oil leaking through valve seals.

Bro you are rite and I know sn grade is new and efficient.. I'm using 0w-20sn in my city 2015.
