Honda CITY 2011 RMP dropping below 900

Hi friends,

I have Honda City 2011, Its RPM is stable at 900 in neutral. When i accelerate it goes up but the problem is that after removing the foot from gas pedals the RPM fist comes till 500 and car starts shaking and the rpm needle feels a jerk n gets up to 900 again. and if there is a need to accelerate again quickly after stopping car does not gives a good response. u have to wait till it gets till 900 and then car accelerates.

Please guide me about the issue , why is rpm dropping below 900 every time and showing a lag in response

Car milage 14k
fuel petrol normal caltex
normall driving below 2000rpm

Throttle body needs servicing.

just 14k driven car should not have such issues
check plugs
else throtle body

Its surely a Throttle body which needs cleaning up, i got my city 12 throttle body serviced after 15K and i was dirty. But i would also suggest to change the air filter from OEM to guard and feel difference with respect to the lag.Just clean it after 1K and replace at 2.5K

How is throttle body cleaned? its cost? if any one has an idea of it?

i was facing same issue got my throttle body cleaned and air filter changed but nothing changed.
but as soon as i shifted from normal to high Octane petrol @ PSO company operated pump, issue was gone.
please empty your tank and get HOBC you will see and feel the difference

Go to Honda 3s, i got it services at 15K visit for free. I think they charge 1000Rs.

Issue resolved after getting the Throttle body Serivce. Cost RS 750 + 1500 for computer checking. now RPM is stable at 900 Thanks to Saeed Autos Honda 2S Pit stop

I dont think running High octance is a good option. its already more costly and no use of getting the extra miles compared to normal fuel.
