This new corolla even with Euro star tyres feels better and has much better grip than 9th gen Civic with even Michelin primacy hp tyres
Civic feels too unstable and extremely light at above 140km/hr
Even new XLi feels much more stable and has a better grip at even 150
About brakes
Both are equally good
About acceleration
I can send you 0 to 100 video of my Civic 9th gen
No doubt the sound of Vtec above 4 k rpm feels great and no doubt when ever you floor any civic including this new one it brings a smile on your face
But 0 to 100 timings aren't that impressive
It did in more than 11.5 secs
Even 1600 cc Altis touches 100 in 12 secs exact so nothing really impressive
Initially I also thought civic is faster than Altis but I think this time Altis 1.8 is slightly faster talking about autos here
Both cars are equally good
Corolla's shape and exterior beats civic badly
Civics interior feels and looks far better than Corolla's interior but yes civic feels congested inside corolla is more spacious
Civic has better seats
Using civic since December last year
And new corolla for the last 5 months ...
