My neighbour got delivery of honda civic yesterday , Honda fort employ has promised him that he will get a call in 8-10 months for new civic but city is coming in first half of 2016

Honda gateway owner , sales manager and service manager told me that new generation of city will be launched in 2020

In this confusion i finally got rid of my New Facelift City after keeping it for hardly 2 months and driving it hardly 1100 kms
Feeling much better now
Was really worried that my City will depreciate alot after new City's launch
So sold it at the 1st good Offer
Didnt face any big loss ThankGod just around 19k
Things would have been different after new gen City's launch
And the loss figure would have jumped from 19k to 1.9 lacs atleast i believe

Feeling much better now
Was really worried that my City will depreciate alot after new City's launch
So sold it at the 1st good Offer
Didnt face any big loss ThankGod just around 19k
Things would have been different after new gen City's launch
And the loss figure would have jumped from 19k to 1.9 lacs atleast i believe

One who can afford such cars should not bother about this depreciation thing... Enjoy your ride to maximum and then sell it after that.... 1100km only, may be you were not clear while purchasing, that for how long u want to keep the car....
Behrhal its gone now, keep on waiting for new one...

It will not get depreciated so much even if new City is launched in 2016. New city will be surely be priced higher as it is overall improved car than its predecessor, you can also take example of city 2006-2008, even 2009 city is overall better but 06-08 model resale has increased after 2009 is launched and the most likely reason of that the new model was launched with higher price tag.

don't worry brother patience always rewards, in your thought you did the right thing, you have got your investment back in your hands, and are safe to make a decision again, if i were you i will wait till march and see honda's response, if nothing comes up i will go for Xli and sit back and see where market goes in 2016-17. i can always sell it back for new shape City, can't i?
