Honda city 7th Generation

Please read it all and give your suggestions. I have bought a honda city car prosmatec 1.3 in 2019 Dec for almost 27lac with registeration and all... I'm not satisfied with the car because of its old features n functions. I heard honda is launching 7th gen city so I'm think to sell my current car n go for it. as it has all the latest features( ofcourse it will not have all but enough). As a competitor of toyota yaris it should maintain its current price right? So is it wise to sell my current honda city in 2 months then buy the new 7th gen in a month or two? heard it'll be realsed in Jan 21.
One thing more. if I sell what should be the price of my current city?

all doors are sound proofed ( installed double sheets in each door )

I bought the car for almost 27 lac and spent almost 1lac and 12 thousand.
Car is in 10/10 condition

NOPE. You shouldn't sell your city right now.

You should wait until / unless the new City gets launched, and I am quite hopeful that it is not coimng in Jan. 2021.

It'll come somewhere in mid, or later 2021, or may be later, if / when it comes.

Details are:

I do not intend to hurt you, but usually, after market items mostly never pay back, however good, luxurious and costly they are.

You may open PakWheels / OLX used cars calculator, apply different filters, and see / check, what are people demanding for the cars matching your car's condition.

you may demand accordingly, and then sell based on your priorities.

Still, I would sincerely suggest to not get panic, and not sell your car right now.

1. when new honda ciy would be launched, then it may not be wise to buy it immediately as honda is famous for faults in new models..like there were numerous issues in all new 10th generation of honda ciivc which was launched in 2016 and with time, the mostly problems have been solved....

So after launch of honda city 7th generation, you must wait for few months atleast to know market feedback and known faults for better decision making.

1. New Honda city would be expensive and may be 30 to 32-33 lakh tak ho..

2. and if you are up to spend 30 lakh plus then why dont you buy either brand new honda civic (hard top or oriel)

OR

Buy some used but in better condition civic (basic or oreil)

1. Whatever features new honda city would have, but neither it can beat drive and control of civic nor features of civic..so why waiting for city

2. in 2020 beginning, i was all set to buy honda city..then i though why not corolla 1.6 and then i shift to civic oriel being the best choice feature wise...i mean electronic handbrake and break hold jo sirf high end cars ...auto retractable mirrors, auto sun roof, led headlights, cruise control, oush start, 3 types of entreing into car and so on....longggg list

3. if you compare current city with civic...atleast 35 features are more in civic than city..so there is no comparison anyway

In any case, the OP should keep his current car with him, and not sell in hurry.

rest, if you want to buy honda city any way, then dont sell city now...wait till 2021 mid or 2022 beginning so you know new city market feedback and known facts..and dont worry about market value...as new model high price will compensate old model prices

if you strictly wanted hodna city then buying now honda city now is a great economic decision as new model will be expensive and

afterall, honda city current 5th generation in Pakistan still holds the title of "Most cheap and reliable Sub Compact Sedan" in Pakistan
