Honda City "Alabaster Silver" - 2014 Chapter

I think that Honda has became a "Mafia" - they would sell a car e.g. City starting from 16+ Lacs but on the other hand they advise potential buyers of 2nd hand Hondas to make unbelievably low value offers which is not the case with Toyota. Seems to me that they're one of the factors behind Hondas loosing more value than Toyota at resale (besides the exp spares)

@civic7 Got tyres changed today to "Yokohama Advan Db v551" , phenomenal tyres yarr .. Thanks for the good advice ... This is my first vehicle on which I did some expensive tyre change and I am glad I did it.

Got single tyre for 8,750/tyre rupees from the Tyre House .. along with official warranty card.

Sold Euro-Stars for 14,000 (3.5k / tyre ) >>>

And please don't go for cheap Chinese Alloys, stock steel r OK, or go for some decent branded light weight.

There is a slight halt in up-gradation spree as I thought It is appropriate that I should get it registered first and to be honest Alloys are not on my list at the moment >> Next up will be Key less entry + Audio Upgradation

Hahaha I can feel your excitement level after having this metallic beauty with the best tyres one can have for a car the tremendous ADVAN DB...So are these 185 and if they are 185 so why didn't you go for 195...I am using 195 DB Advan and got them for Rs.9,000 per piece!!!

Just a personal choice brother ... 185 looked just fine and regarding your question why i chose silver , again just a personal preference .. .... it is something that varies from person to person and time to time ..

I also respect your choice of 185 and to be very honest even I wanted 185 as it is lighter for the car but when I went to get the tyres at that time the dealer didn't had any other size except the 195/65R15 not even 195/60 but said that I will have to wait for another 5-6 days to get my desired size and as I live in Islamabad and the dealer was far away in Pindi that is Asad Tyres so I didn't wanted to go back empty hand and when I installed 195 I didn't regret they are just a little bit heavier for the new CITY and thus the gear ratio are also not perfect but the grip, comfort and stability you get with the profile 195/65 especially at higher speeds is simply awesome as compared to 185!!!

Fortunately, I don't do higher speeds .. 120-130 kph is good enough for me (H)

Buddy this is the local warranty card of the shop so don't worry.... Asad tyres is a reputed name on PW too .. .. "Sheikh Brothers" in Karachi are the official importers of Yokohamas in Pakistan. You can counter confirm it from them , if Asad tyres is on the list.

Date on the tyre was 35/2013 >> 35th week of 2013

Honda City 2014 Chapter

I got a Honda City 2014 booked today from Honda Chenab Fsd in"Alabaster Silver" colour at 15.49 lac rupees.

Got 6,000/- discount from the invoice price ( Invoice is 15.55 lacs now )

Car Arrived on 14th March, 2014

This thread will be dedicated to this Silver beauty for future upgrades and mods

Islamabad Registration

1. What is the present registration fee for 1.3l Honda City

2. What is the registration procedure , step-step in case one wants to do it all without the help of reg agents.

Immediate Planned Upgrades ( After Isb Registration )

1. Will get Silver Matching Mud-guards in Silver at the delivery ( which comes in Aspire version ) DONE

2. Tyres will be Upgraded to 185/65-15. ( Budget was 8000/- per tyre ) DONE > Yokohama Advan Db v551 ( 8750/ tyre )

3. Stock 02 speakers will be replaced & upgraded. ( Max Budget for this is 10-12 k )

4. Key less entry system has to be added

5. I'd definitely want to upgrade the fabric seats to something more sophisticated. I'd great if I can find genuine after market leather or very high quality fabric.

6. Some good Floor Mats

1. Some branded 2-Din DVD player with Back View Cam

The agent u suggested ... said he would charge 10000 rupees as his fee only. ..hadd hoti hai yaar lutt ki bhi ...

Bank fee is 68000 and he said he would take 78000 .. wdf :D:p

Buddy how much did he charge for Civic registeration ... I got a civic registered couple of months back for 136k
