dvd players come with universal fitting so ur audio player will be replaced but panel remain there. if u buy android unit then u need panel replacement !

I have honda city 2018 model and want to replace my infotainment system with aftermarket anroid system. But dealer told me if i got installed aftermarket system it would void warranty. Can anybody guide me what is fact and does this installation affect warranty or alteration in wiring ? Pls advise thanks.

Yes it will void electrical warranty.
It depends on the lcd you buy. It may require wire cutting but 90% are grip to grip plug and play systems but still warranty is voided

Dealers are demanding 60,500 for original infotainment navigation systems and i have to return infotainment which came with car as well. So guys pls suggest me should i get installed system with dealer or aftermarket system?

You should know that the navigation Honda offers is made by Tracking World and you can buy the unit directly from them.
The old system which was WinCe and non-Android with buttons is for 30K
and the new latest android one with touch buttons and a larger screen i think its 10 or 11 inch that is coming in the latest City is for 50K

How can i buy unit directly from honda? Because my car has arrived and now i have to get it installed from dealer. Honda offers unit in 50k at the time of car booking. Later, dealers demand 60k for installation.

Find tracking world from google, call them, they will tell u the exact amount. Nothing will happen to ure car, it will still remain genuine, no warranty issues, dealer is just misguiding u.

I got following quote of Android panels from CNM HUB located at Hall Road.

2GB
16GB
6.1 android Marshmallow
4S Chinese company
PKR 20,500

2GB
32GB
7.1 Android nugget
M Power chinese company
PKR 28,500

He said premier and V7 are local brands. Premier is of Hall Road, V7 is of Pindi brand.
while these two above mentioned are well known chinese companies.

Another person quoted 32,500 for 2GB, 32GB with installation and back cam and he said this is of Navicore brand of Taiwan.

What you guys suggest which one should be opted?

Sir basically the 2gb 16gb variant is a fake one it is modified through software to show the 2gb ram in setting but actuallly it contain 1gb ram
2gb 32gb is the variant with real 2gb ram.
I installed a1gb 16gb on 1st sep from sadar rawalpindi it is running quite smoothly, it costs me 16000

Thanks for a nice suggestion. I will opt 32GB version.
One more suggestion needed between Navi core panel of Taiwan or M power panel (chinese).
I dont know whether their brand claim is right or all are chinese.
