Does anyone know if Honda is offering these Aspire parts for non-aspire city? I want the side mirror indicators and keyless entry. I know I can probably get it from somewhere else but I want it done from Honda only.

yes they are offering it. i have verified it from Islamabad and Rawalpindi showrooms both. the only problem is that their parts department has not yet received the price list of these items. u can definitely install each and every item separately from them

iquestion is 1.3l engine can give us a sporty feel, i don't think so. this car is only suitabout for only those young boys who just pass his matriculation exams with high marks and his father promis him to give him a car.

i m not at all a Honda fan boy or anything, but i m sorry to saythat ur ^^^ statement clearly tells that u havent driven a new city on petrol. a 1.3 liter engine, producing 100 hp, giving a really really tough time to 06-07 model vti (and beating 06-07 model exi) , even then giving u a superb mileage of like 20 km per liter on long routes, what else can u ask for ? if THIS engine does not give u a sporty feel, u shud forget abt ANY kind of sporty feel in any car in pakistan. ferrari is ur solution

agreed. with this price tag, Aspire is a bad option. but sock honda city, for its price as compared to Corolla Xli or even Gli is by far THE best buy car in Pakistan today

Last year I advised my friend to buy City and he is more than happy. I liked its drive in Margalla Hills way beyond Pir Sohawar till new Murree point I drove it myself and loved it.

and this brings me to another question. one of our fellow members said that despite city being a gud power-to-weight-ratio car, it is sluggish on hikes. is it the case ? how did u feel its response on hikes ?

agreed, its not touching the bumps, but at the cost of wat ? poorer fuel economy, less comfort, poor driving position/experience and putting unnecessary load on engine

Why are you assuming the things yourself bro when I can tell you the 1st hand experience.
Poorer Fuel economy: The fuel economy is not poor at all. Infact its quite good. The Michelin Energy Savor tyres are famous for their fuel economy.
Less Comfort: These Michelin Tyres are very soft. They offer far more comfort than stock eurostars.
Poor driving position/experience: No, not at all. The driving experience is superb. What difference a few milimeters can make? As I told you earlier, I am driving the car on stock 15 inch rims, not on 17" rims.
And the other advantages which I have not mentioned before are Amazing Road Grip plus Beautiful Looks.
And road grip is far better than fuel economy when it comes to safety.

you can get all the Premium Stuff from the Market verrry Easily!! Nothing Aspires oo i mean inspires me about this City. No FF Fog Lamps, Rear Light Dezin Change, Chrome Grill & Other Goodies that r Really Impressive !! :S

first of all, congrats on ur purchase. i m getting my delivery at the end of this month InshAllah
regarding tyres, dont got for mich energy saver. they are super soft, but wear out very very quickly. Yokohama Advan db, if available, are the best out of the choices mentioned. but nowadays its short in the market, so u mite have to setttle for yokohama db themselves, which are again excellent tyres. size, ideal is 195/60/15. they are 1% different from stock size. moreover, Yokohama dbs are famous for their fuel economy and have been ranked 3rd in the world for their rolling resistance and fuel economy. it is pertinent to mention here that Toyota Prius Hybrid comes stock with Yokohama Advan Db tyres. so u can well imagine that a car which is MEANT for fuel economy has these tyres as OEM fitted, how gud their performance must be

Advan db is best if available in 195/60 R15 but I guess its really hard to find.
I recommend Yoko db, super silent tyres.

195/65 size is bigger for city, it will effect speedometer and performance to some extent

195/60...dont go for 195/65 . its lil too big for city. height and comfort does matter a lil with 65 profile....if u want 65 profile, then go for 185/65....if u r going for 195, then dont go beyond 60 in any case

out of the options given to u only, go for michelin energy savers. dunlop eco and 702 are useless tyre. Aspec a300 is WAY WAY old technology tyre and is kind of OK...AVS is awesome, but its more of sports oriented, so its pretty hard for the suspension. so, out of the available options to u, go for mich enerrgy savers, but remember, they wear off very very VERY soon

Go for Michelin Energy Saver tyres. They are Italian, deliver very good fuel economy and they are super comfy. We have to use soft tyres in Honda City because it has a bit hard suspension.
Regarding their life, they DON'T wear out soon if they are original. I am using them in my Altis also and they are 40,000 Km driven now. Still going strong. Plus the dealer would give you one lac Kilometer warranty if you buy them from an authorised dealer. Though I don't know how this warranty works in Pakistan because they can't be sure how many Kms you have driven the car on those tyres.
Go for 195/60 size. Its good but you can also go for 195/65 if 195/60 size is not available, no issues with them. You can see my previous posts regarding them.
