you are most welcome but these are not the figures which i am getting. I got my car last saturday and filled it up. With hundred percent city drive with hundred percent AC on, it gave me an average of 12.2 km per liter within the city. I dont know if this is good or bad for a first ever fill . Lets see

well we all do know that the city is equipped with onboard fuel average indicator. As per that my car was giving me an average me 13.7 kilometer per liter but as i had heard that it does not give accurate reading i did not trust it either. When i filled the tank after getting my car from showroom i reset the trip meter to zero. After driving it for 363 kms, i went to the pump and filled it up again to check how much fuel it had consumed which came out to be 29.8 liters. And this is the only correct way of checking the fuel efficiency as per my limited knowledge

as per my humble knowledge there is no tyre with the name yoko advan. They are either yoko db, yoko avs db and yoko advan db. and yes the size you are looking for is short in the market. I myself got them from karachi and paid extra too per tyre

What i Would like to know is where did you get those tyres from, because i am getting a City too Soon InshAllah and would like to have 185/65 installed. although what is the advantage of 185/65?...why not tyres of stock size but a different make?

ah..finally got my hands on a computer so here i m replying again. i had typed a detailed answer from my mobile but i dont know when i was sending it something happened to it and it vanished. so here i go

changing of tyres, here mostly in pakistan, are just based on style...keh jee wider tyre would look good. some ppl mite not agree with it but this is the case. abt the necessity of the tyre to change, to be honest, in the new city, there is no REAL need to change the tyres as the car even with its stock tyres is excellent on road grip and braking. however, the same can not be said abt the new corolla as it DOES has few issues at high speed cornering etc etc. having said that, i personally believe that these cars, corolla OR city, are not meant for high speed cornering in the first place. so if driven properly as a economy car and not as a sports car, there are no issues with the stock tyres even. why to change then ? well...there are few reasons. firstly, they are pretty hard as compared to any good company tyre. i changed mine on day one and only drove the stock eurostars for around 20 kilometers till the tyre change shop and the moment i changed them to advan db, the difference was PHENOMENAL....that is one reason. secondly, tyres like advan db and michelin energy are built for fuel economy. so yes they do matter in the long run. thirdly, at least the advan db, are extremely quiet tyres. u just cant even imagine hoe quiet they are on the road. whereas eurostars are pretty noisy.

ok..now coming on the availablity. yes the size 185 65 is short in market so i had to source them from karachi. each tyre cost me around 1000 extra as compared to the price quoted here in pindi (if and when they would be available)..but as i m a tyre freak, i got them from karachi. also paid for the cargo. so if u want me to give u the number, i can do that

abt the tyre size, i agree with u. tehre is no need to change the tyre size at all. the only problem is that in market there are no good tyres in 175 65 size (at least i couldnt find any) so 185 65 was the closest i got to. moreover, i agree that 175 does look a lil too thin on new city (personal opinion again)

so this is all abt tyres. repeating once again. in new city, u do NOT need to change tyres or braking and cornering. both the things are excellent. yes if u need other reasons like fuel economy, comfort and noise, go for it

works perfectly well on CNG. the only problem ppl face is the wrong reading of fuel guage. it goes kinda crazy. rest, as per the car performance, there are absolutely no issues

For its grip, its excellent yaar. I have been in sharp turns on motorway at speeds of 150+ on the car. Didn't move a single mm or made me feel a slightest hitch that i was gonna loose control. Mine are 195/65/15. I love wide tyres like u, :D, was going for 215 but it wasn't available, so opted for this.

no doubt. these are by far the best tyres i have ever driven any car on. abt the size, well yes i like wider tyres too, but then u have to compromise on fuel economy. so thats why i dint opt for 195 65 as u did. i stuck with 185s

u wont believe it. i bought my tyres first and then got the delivery of the car. the day i was going to collect my car, i first went to daewoo station to collect my tyres. went to honda showroom straight from there alongwith the tyres. i asked them to put the new tyres on for me and give me the stock ones to carry but they refused. so i had to put the new tyres in the boot of the city and drive till the tyre shop and got them swapped from there

Aoa: With the Grace of Allah Almighty i finally got my ride this Tuesday and drove it from Peshawar to D.I.Khan. First impressions are very impressive. meanwhile swapped stock tyres with Yoko Advan DB 195/65/15. Could not get 185 size in Peshawer so..majbooran went for 195. Really enjoyed the drive as compared to corrola. its handling and Brakes are awsome man. anddd very famous hard suspension issue dosnt seems to be any problem.

using wider tyres upsets the steering geometry and also increases rolling resistance.. I have a largish and heavy MB sedan, it uses 195/65/15 tyres and goes like the car is on rails even at 160 km/h, Tyres are not the only factor when talking about grip. bumping to a 205 or 215 width from 175 is like attaching really heavy rubber soles to your lightweight jogging shoes.

Audi even once did an advertisement of their car driving just on rims with no tyres on a snowy mountain road.

I love this color... I have mine 2012 in the same. people say its out of market color so don't buy it. But I say curse the market. Buy what u love. U aren't buying it for the 'next' owner, lolz.

Its cluster has got two lights, H & C. Light up in respective conditions.

well why not bruv, I bought advan dB @9k/tire, back in january 2012. Purchased em frm faisalabad. They are abotu 9.5k per piece nowadays...
