As per information obtained from Honda City Sales and Honda Canal Bank, beige interior will be available in standard version but may be after a month or two. Most probably in October they will start booking in beige interior.

Congratulations. Any rumours about Aspire+ with sunroof? Atlas can make good money by adding a sunroof.

Sir Honda Atlas is already milking hard its cash cow (City). They should introduce sunroof + pedal shift controls in Aspire while keeping the price same. With price tag of 1.7m for MT and 1.8m for Prosmatec, I think it is no more a middle class car.

Introducing pedal shift & steering controls in City can fetch considerable amount of profits for H/Atlas.

On a side note, I am just curious to know what is the color of seats under this beige leatherette poshish.

I think its the same old black but waiting for @Ahmedyar bhai to kill the curiosity.

10 Spoke RIMS as evident in the above posted pics.

The 10,000 additional they got from me is for two tone interior and changed rims, which i think are the gaped ones.

If facelift (new grill, bumper n tail lights) was to launch, they wouldn't have introduced beige interior + change of rims in Aspire.
Only thing you can expect for now is coming of beige interior in standard model.

I think they are doing it progressively this time; first they started off with production after a long break
followed by aspire; followed by two tone interior in aspire and now we are awaiting the same interior in standard city
Can there be more in the pipeline???
Why i am saying this is becoz i have already booked aspire for 30th Oct and honda gujranwala ppl called me up and advised me to take delivery early, reason they were citing was that the price is going to increase again by around 40,000. I asked them for reason for the price hike to which they did not give any clear answer and were stating price hike in the country and increase in fuel prices which has increased the cost of production becoz of increased reliance on generators for power production

How early?
Acc to my knowledge and experience Honda cannot ask for more money in case price increases after the booking has been made. Suzuki and toyota asks for differential in case prices increase.

I also heard this but i have already depostied 10,000 additional for two tone interior about 20 days back. Many other PWers also posted similar payment in their cases.

Yes I heard extra charge for two tone interior as well. My advice would be not to rush for early delivery who knows you might get a facelift with new lights after the launch of new civic.
It all depends on ur preference yar.
I recently got new Gli paid differential due to increase in prices now waiting for city facelift. If it is launched till dec then I'll buy otherwise planning for either altis or Prius.

well, its a worrisome situation as your have explained, at least for me cause I have just booked Aspire 3 days back and I cant afford further price hike. The car would already cost me 1.7 m after registration and misc. expenses. BUT my hunch feelings suggests that there would be no facelift this time cause major changes in city have already be introduced in Aspire n what is left are just bumper and lights. Again that's just me; who knows when they are doing what..

Previously , I had experience with Toyota and they didn't ask for price difference. I booked my car during the same time last yr and right after a week price jumped and before my delivery there was again increase in the price but fortunately I didn't have to pay anything and as suggested by many members on pakwheels you only pay the price at the time of booking except for any govt imposed tax or surcharge. Rest is fine, manufacturers wont ask you for the difference because of inflation or cost overhead that is incurred in the production process.
But who knows its Pakistan and nothing is sure and certain and yor booking order also states that price at the time of delivery would be charged.

and BTW how can you force Honda for early delivery. They will deliver the car when its ready; that is the prevailing practice; are there any book door or VIP treatment for early delivery as well?
