I have few friends in Honda. The interior will be the same (black)
There will be total four variants, present two and the two new models with features and prosmatic in auto. The cost is 120 k which i think is just an OK deal compared to the new features they are offering

Door mirror winker (indicator light in side mirror)
Alloy rims
Keyless entry
Leather seats
Navigation
RR speakers (current model has only FR speakers)

The interior color might be changed in july or august as told by source but this is not confirmed. City facelift would not be coming i guess after introduction of this new variant.

Didnt hear about the sport version though.

theres only 1 person on the entire Pakwheels who said it might be 1400cc, Even toyota deleted the triptronic from Altis to have the same gear box for the same engine (i.e Gli 1.6 and Altis 1.6)

Why on earth would Honda import 2 seperate transmission for the same cars? i.e (A/T and P/T) ? Specialy when they didnt come up with the 1.6 Civic, Which could help Honda have an additional sales.

Once again instead on giving City a extra touch a lower end Civic is required. Im not against the City Aspire idea but Civic was much more Zaroori to shake Toyota. This would only give a push to Corolla sales in my personal view.

Honda has tried to price City close to Xli, Then higher then Xli, then they had to reverse the price, Happened twice (a)when IDSI facelift came out, b) when 3rd Gen City came out.)

Both the times the idea failed.

Even now they are trying to do the same. to me a Cheaper Civic wud have had been a wiser decision.

You are right indeed, But dont you think the pricing seems competitive any one buying this City A/T wud try the A/T Gli (that is 1.6 plus Corolla hai (dunt see my Dp wen reading this))? If they want competition then they shud have tried the Civic EXi maybe.

I guess the City A/T has a conventional A/T which is old tech, But who cares? Indus also is using the old A/T. But im not sure if the City A/T has the gear change jerk that 96-01 Civic has. (thats seriusly pathetic). Lets wait nd see how it unfolds.

Not intended to start any camparison war but how abt pathetic blacky interior,lesser cabin room,when it shakes ones *** (hard suspension). So GLI has got its own class. Good to see those features in city but still alot to improve to compete with GLI

So there is no issue of cabin room.
And yes. City has bigger trunk than corolla 506L. Hard suspension has more edge on handling/braking side. Now don't say that City isn't comfortable due to it's hard suspension.
What about fuel consumption and bhp's? Which one has got better? Ask urself.
What else GLI has got so that City isn't capable to be compared with it?

Agree about civic with lower variant or city with higher variant but the offer they are giving for 120 k seems to be a good deal. Secondly, i dont know exactly why they are introducing P/T, but that is confirmed they are!.Four variants. One can opt for any as per their choice.

sssshhhh...the only argument they have is "jee corolla corolla hay"...dont waste ur time on them let them be happy on an underpowered 87 hp car with THE most boring drive EVER (have a 2012 gli in my family and i have driven it extensively, hence i know)

just talked to honda guys in islamabad. Aspire will be on display in pindi showroom tomorrow....as far as keyless or immobilizer, they are saying it wud be keyless entry only and no immbolizer as they are offering in civic

they also said that the alloys wud be 15 inch, with the same crappy old eurostar tyres....so now i think its not a wise option to go for aspire as it wud still not be havin immobilixer. leather seats, i personally dont like in pakistan (only) cause of the hot weather here in our country. abroad in west, yes why not. so i guess its not that gud an option to pay 120k extra for the features they are offering

Yes they are different, Immobilizer function is some chip embedded in Car key which contains some number or u can say Password, car will only start through original key, as this function is linked with ECU, so car wont start if some tries it with duplicate key.

I would rather pay 120K for dual airbags than these shashkaas... These stuff can not make the car safe. They should provide dual airbags in order to aspire me
