you can check the owner's manual for engine break-in process, what i did with my new car was3000 KM without using AC and keeping RPM below 4000 ,eliminating cruise control and kept shifting gears, keeping speed limit below 80.
I have been told by honda that no need to look after such things since the running for tbe emgine is done by honda and you can drive the car natural way with AC etc.Ur thoughts on it?

Pure B.SHonda doesnt have time to keep up with the demand and you think they will break in the engine for you? Even Nissan GTR had a break in period of 300 KMs
i don't trust local motors anymore, i shared info on my personal experience, it may or may not make a huge difference but it defiantly helps keeping engine strong. Following links may explain it better
