I think we should not compare Altis with City. Yes V can compare Altis with 1.8 iVtec

and about the engine bay. I dont know why I want it clean all the time I dont care if body or interior is messy but I need engine bay should be neat and clean of all my cars.

It is dirty again at the moment if next time I washed the engine bay surly i,ll post dry pics. and you are right its hard to keep engine bay clean for long. so have to spend every weekend on it

Though today it was raining really hard so enjoyed it for two hours and then because I was fasting took advantage of the whether and went to clean the engine so decided to share the pictures with you guys. After coming back I had a hardcore sleep

Brother I dont have cng in mines but I think only when you fiddle with the sensors or some panga goes on with the car the engine check light switches on......I installed an air intake in my car an at first intake pipe didnt have a hole for the air sensor.....an during those 15 min that I drove to the kharadiya to get a hole in the pipe the check stayed on.....an I presume for cng people put air blockers in the breathin system...maybe its cuz of that....could be some other panga as well.....Ahmed yar daas naa!!

Anyway coming to the engine pics, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm nice cleaning you put in.....aab mai to detailing ka shoukeen hoon, I can find couple of things youve missed an some other mistakes...Lekin cool man! Keep it up...put in some more detail an youll get there......btw what did you do to the Idsi sticker on the head cover??

After a long time I am posting something. Its about the trip I made on my honda city a few days ago. It was a trip to karachi yes I left on 15th and returned on 27th. The car really lived upto its reputation created by the thread. Well its my first honda and I am really impressed by them. The car was really economical we were six people 5 elders and one 11 year old and a trunk full approximately 100kgs of lugguage we also had lugguage inside the cabin the underside of backseat and my dad had a bag near his feat in the front passenger seat. One can easily imagine the load on the car but still it gave me 2.5Rs/km with AC at 3 and the rpm was ranging 3-3.5k rpm. When going to karachi from sukkur the car was pushed to its limits and at rpm 4-4.5 rpm it still gave 2.75Rs/km although we were only 2 people but lugguage was same. First day we travelled till sukkur it took us 900 kms because of wrong route in multan. We began journey at 4:40 in morning and reached sukkur by 9:00 pm. In all those 16 hours the car was only stopped for an hour and thats the total of all stops at CNG stations+lunch and after 16 hrs of driving car was like it can go another 900 without trouble. In sukkur we stopped for an hour and then left for some relatives home for dinner and car was fresh like it behaves in morning

The next day I had to stay for some work so family left for karachi in another car and I began afternoon I had a driver with me so we drove 50-50. When the driver was driving on superhighway towards karachi he decided to test the vehicle because he was driving idsi for the first time I noted that he tool the car to 105 in 3rd gear at 5200 rpm and that too on CNG with AC on and in 4th gear took the car to 130+ so I think it could have gone 150+ if he had tried. In my opinion thats not bad considering the economy idsi gives you. I would like to tell you that after drivers stretching of the vehicle to its limits its pick had significantly increased on same CNG settings I think its exhausts have cleared

One thing I forgot is that on first day I drove the car for 16 straight hours and it was really comfortable all family members had no major problems just slight backaches that went away in 30 minutes. On return I drove single handedly to lahore. From this trip I have really becomed impressed by idsi performance. I think if hondas bottom of the line model is so great than what would the performance of civic I dont know because I have never driven a civic

1. It was 2006 but really disappointed me it was only driven 60k+ but embarassing
2. It was 2010 and really impressive good quality

My family also did not like the 2006 but they liked the 2010 very much. If I can drive 2010 city I can make comparison. But there is no comparison between city and XLI absolutely no competition

Thanks! Didn't do detailed cleaning just washed it with shampoo and applied it with a cloth which had a bit of wax.(Don't have turtle car care products as I cant visit Montgomery because my driver does not know the way ) I know there are some places which are not well of and regarding the Idsi sticker it wasn't there when I bought it . My city does show the check light and the mechanic tells me that it is there because of the oxygen sensor that does relate with what you said. BTW what is pre soak ? :

In past june i travelled back from naran to attock in idsi 2004. I stopped at mansehra for tea and than at abbotabad for chaman icecream. It took 8.5 hr continious drive except for tea and icecream to reach home without trouble. But one thing to be honest it give a bit of hardtime for idsi at ascending towards showgran. But wt it says abt fuel economy is very right.

Welcome back sir jee, an what an entrance you have made....!!! Glad to know you had a trouble free n relaxing journey.....regarding the civic, I recently had the chance to own an R18......sigh, ride was good, everything was ok, just the consumption let me down....9-10km/L, Im gettin like 16km/L on my current 07 Idsi..................Im in love with this car.....I`ve bought the Vtec version too, thats like a monster compared to the Idsi in terms of power, but economy is roughly the same......guess you can beat the car!!!

From past 3 days my idsi is missing a little bit, both on cng and on petrol.
It sometimes give a kick suddenly at minimum of abt travelling 7km and sometime not at all. I had tuned up the car + throttle + sprk plg cleaning abt 2.5 month ago.
Wt should i do.

If you need things from there tell me Ill pick them up from any shop you want me to an you can collect them from my place, my office like a 2 min drive from Montgomery Road...regarding the check light yar, us ko theek karao,dont play or take lightly the check light, somthing might go seriously wrong with the engine an youll keep on driving thinking its just the air sensor........so please get it in order.....comprende?? Presoak is a powerwashing unit grade cleaner from Turtle Wax....

hmmmmm, I took my Idsi, with 6 people on board an luggage to thandiani.....theek hi gae thi even with a worn out clutch bearing it went the works..........but yes it is a little short on power compared to the new rocket from Honda......also the 2000 model was a real gem...............I cant forget my escadapes on it.....
