I've got the advancer connected but the red light under the advancer & emmulator stays on at all times. Secondly applied matched paint on the scratches there hardly visible have to examine really closely to find the scratch. Will be applying Turtle wax color magic with chapstick on the car tomorrow.

recently i have purchased a City 2005, i must say its a great machine.. one problem though i a seeing EPS light is on and steering is harder... what possibly is wrong?

Two tubless tires of my city are continuously creating problems , i checked it with tire wala he said " Tyre ko punture laga dia hai again ho to andar sy repair kerna ho ga i said ok but he also said later on phr bi prob ho to get it changed " issue is i just to fill the air after every tow days from last week ...anyhow what ll be cost of tire ...
Me using city 2004 (13 Inch Tyre) ,should i change two only or i should change all the tires btw other two never had a problem ...what ll be approximate cost ?

change the tires! thats it! yokohama is my personal choice.its soft, grippy n quite

so, my own car, its gonna be getting a few repaints in this week.im in isb right now and have to go back to sargodha tomorrow.then the work on my car will start.
this will be a major overhaul sort of thing for my car, the first of its kind

front and rear bumper repaint
both rear doors repaint due to scratches
new sheets under the bumper and inside wheel well
general service, will get the carpet washed as well (for the first time)
seat covers (till now im using stock covers)
may be new clothe for the doors too
interior cleaning job.will do this one myself using formula 1 liquid (for stains n dirt)
complete engine tuning, tappets, plugs, air filter etc
and at the end, some nice polish!

i just hope i get time for all that in the 5 days that i ll have in this visit.
this all is a part of refreshing the car after 200,000kms, which it will complete tomorrow
200,000kms is quite some job for a tiny little engine to do in less then 5 years and in not-so-g00d conditions! it deserves a treat

Your car has served you alot and surely deserves the same treatment however i won't recommend you to get the doors repainted as that will decrease the price however do get the bumpers painted . Oem paint really worked on my bumpers and the car looks neater than ever. Well we got 2 pieces of our alto painted and yes it did effect the price. Go for leather seats as they'll be easy in cleaning and is the cloth on the doors torn ? If not then buy a upholstery cleaner that would do the job. I had my door clothes dirty but believe me they are squeaky clean now . I'll post pictures of the cloth and the cleaner for your help. You drive daily from Islamabad to Sargodha if yes then it is some drive for the car. My 1996 civic has its mileage in 200 000 kms .. Well my sheet under the engine also needs some clips. Hope you have a good time cleaning your car and your hard work really pays off.

Aoa every one!

I've a problem with my idsi city. On cng its engine turns off after taking a jerk or two. It happens when the car is moving. Then i switch off the ignition once and turns on again. The car's engine gets restarts using inertia of motion. Is there any body who faced the same problem, if yes what did he do to get rid off the trouble.

Bro....pretty steep project in hand......................dont go for a repaint.....post a pic an Ill tell you what to do with them....in my other thread Ive been able to do wonders with the sunnys paint.......so just upload a pic an if repaint is needed Ill tell you.....bilawaja na kara lena.....baaki if you need any help in the detail to bolo meray bhai...we`ll sort the place out an get yer ride done.........

guys i have a city07 78k kms done so far, the problem im facing is that when i apply race to the car the rpm goes upto 2 but when it comes down it stays above 1 for 4 to 5 secs or even more and then comes down, when in motion when apply brakes the car doest stop quick and i relase the brake the car starts moving itself without applying the accelerator, and sometimes when the car is idle the rpm is below 1 but it feels k gari ki race zyada hai! Can any1 pls help me on this

bro theres no other way to get rid of them then to repaint it! actually the door is already repainted so im not worried about getting an original door screwed.though i hate honda guys, for repaints, i ve no other option but to get it done from them because only they can match the paint 100% (or atleast thats my experience)
as for detailing, yes, i ll ask you when the car is done with all the rest of the stuff.detailing comes in the end

bro repaint is the only way out because the door is full of scratches now after a recent small "kiss" with another car.and yes i ll certainly take pix of all the processes as i always do!

can be a few things.
1st, ur cng idle speed valve is not properly adjusted and it is set to keep the rpms raised above the standard setting.but if the RPMs eventually settle to 750-800, then this is not applicable.
there can be other problem, usually, it has something to do with the air flowing into the engine.it is possible that the air filter is choked so the engine revs up to get the required air supply.
or may be the throttle body is nearly choked.
whatever the reason may be, rest assured that its only about tuning and theres no fault in ur car watsoever.my car starts to do this when the tuning is due (over due i shud say, as it sometimes does this now)
so if u want to get rid of it, just give it a tune up.
