Being a relatively new member to these forums, I just found out about this Fan club. I hope there's space left for a new member me. =)

Great Job Bro... Well, after driving the new City, I too believe that the accelaration of my Idsi has decreased on petrol... but its surely more than that on CNG... Do u suggest that I should get my fuel filter changed??? Like u have done...

and one thing more.. try getting the spark plugs changed and the fuel lines cleaned... may b thats the problem wd ur car... Tuning can also play a role as i have seen that a car tuned for CNG doesnot usually give good pick up on Petrol... Hope my noob advice helps u a bit....

I was really amazed on the new Air intake system Honda has given to this beauty...

After a lot of research, discussions and consultations, I finally mademy mind to saty with the stock rims and profile size.... So got Yokohama Advan dB v551 in 195/65/R15 size....

They are really great... Super silent, extra super road grip... A seamless drive in short... Averaged 23.4kmsper liter and so did 301 kms in about 1.5/4 of the fuel tank... Roughly 15.75 liters... Initial and final drive was in city limits... 245 were on the highway for Faisalabad to Mianwali... Really satisfied with the performance...

lol... bro i think u just felt the acceleration slow because u now have the new city which happens to be a beast in the 1.3l category! i dont think there is anything wrong with ur car unless its showing any signs ... no need to do anything i would say...

and yes, i have to get the spark plugs changed.went to my mechanic, he said just drive it on petrol for a few 100 kms and it ll be fine... so i switched it to petrol and floored it for a few minutes... it did feel better... acceleration is now for sure better then CNG but still lacks the punch it used to have.. will hopefully reach there after using a full tank of petrol...

anyways... today, i left for multan at 4.15am in the morning and came back in the evening. thats around 600kms in a single day... Mashallah no issues and car performed great on the bumpy road upto jhang and then made a fast dash to multan at 130km/h all the time... no issues at all!

bro congratulations on ur new purchase... i simply love this color! if i ever get a new city, this will be my choice of color! im surprised to hear the mileage figures... usually cars dont give that much mileage before touching 10,000kms mark but yours did! a very good start indeed... keep it good and drive safe ....

lol @ the difference in color of ur car n mine it was tooo dirty after yesterdays day trip to multan but still, it needs a lot of attention and time... will give that to it this december Inshallah...

Thanks bhai jan for ur kind response... I myself wasnt expecting that much... but the honda guy says that it will become better when it reaches 5k kms and takes the first oil change... well, haha, not expecting to cover 5k in less than 6-8 months as I am a medical student.. she stays in my garage all day long...

as for my idsi, bro when i saw ur fuel filter caught up with so much dirt, I just thought that mine is gonna cross 200k soon... so might I get the filter checked,,, as for the new city, "pushing the pedal to the medal" really makes a difference and it reaches 160kmh in less than 35 seconds..

but... my idsi kind of seems to lose the power when RPM needle crosses about 4400 rpm.. happens equally on CNG and petrol... dont know the reason though... may be U know something abt that....

it used to stay neck to neck with and se saloon up till 175kmh...

now, it hardly does 145kmh as a top speed... Please let meknow if u can figure out the problemmm... thanks in adv...

Ahmad bhai ur gaddi seems to have lost the characteristic shine... like mine... I am doing a research on how to restore it... let me know if something has already cooked up in ur mind...

Bros, i have recently got the knowledge that one can install cruise control in the new city...

Well, i have checked the car and now I do know that the instrument cluster is actually compatible for cruise control as city has the feature in some countries like India...

Just the problem is that I need the following:

-information on how to install an aftermarket cruise control in a manual transmission car..

-Civic steering wheel..The one having Cruise control buttons on it...

-an aftermarket cruise control kit designed for City's ECU...

_ample time... hope to get it in December...

please tell me bros if u have got any references WRT any person who has already done the same thing...

also do wish me luck for my plans...

@ Ahmed Bhai - Confirmed ! I saw your city today from Kalma flyover to Jinnah Hospital. It caught my attention when i saw the pakwheel sticker at the back one at the trunk and the other one on the rear screen. Secondly the registration number looked familiar so immediately noted it down on my hand . When i came side by side with your car my doubt was cleared when i saw the rims with Honda logo... You got the left side painted right? But there were two minor scratches on the front door and one the front bumper that plastic piece that squared shape cover was missing I thnk the painter must have misplaced that ..... .. The number is LEB -06 14*6 right ? but you werent driving it I thnk it was your father who was driving. Btw I needs a good cleaning followed up by waxing so that it looks more beautiful.
