From ur reply, seems like you've been hypermiling my car gave me 144.5km on this last CNG cylinder fill. all of that is local driving spread over 3 days. i do believe if i hypermile, i can take it up to around 160 and that wud be great for local driving...

Thanks ahmad bhai for liking my noob job... and yeah... I've been kind of hypermiling and now, everyone will be doing so cz CNG is off for at least a month. Tanks will be running on gasoline once again. I am really thinking of throwing out that 90 kg heavy cylinder from the trunk and get my car tuned on petrol.

Haha, couple of days back i was coming home from faislabad on my 2011 red city and witnessed long long lines on cng stations.

believe me I was so happy to know that I will reach mianwali without a single brake for refueling that i wanted to stop, get out of the car in front of the cng stations and dance like hell. hahaha :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Ahmad bhai, another trick for increasing ur car's mileage is that always keep the air filter clean. u and me live in very dusty areas.. it gets clogged v. easily. also, never drive ur car till it gets to its optimum driving temperature.. it guzzles gas when driven cold.

Sharing some more pics after a full day drive... the "umraan naal ghumraan" factor kicks in as she is more than 8 years old now... but worth seeing... enjoy... BTW she touched 196727 today... getting nearer to the 200k mark... OOOO.. (H)(H)

look at the following link carefully and see the tacho Diagnostics!! GUESS what!! Your CITYs are CRUISE CONTROL compatible!!! if anyone can lend me a workshop manual n tell me the wiring pinout of the tacho n that of the ECU i think i can DIY CRuise Control in the City aswel!!!! Shop manual???? can anyone go to Honda n take a pic of the wiring pinouts of the tacho,ECU and that of the Fuse box???we might have a MEGA DIY project in the making!! it would be one the 1st OEM Honda city 5th Gen Cruise Control DIYs!!

and yes i agree, stopping for CNG is really annoying at times! recently went to lahore, got a full tank of petrol from sargodha. Went to lahore , came back... no refills while u need atleast 4 CNG fills after setting off and while coming back from lahore.

n yes, i really used to keep the air filter clean back in old days, now, dont know whats wrong with me, i just get a new one every 10,000kms in our conditions, air filter should be cleaned every 2000kms atleast!

WoW... Superhot!!! Love every single thing about ur car! I ve had this generation of city n i love it! specially the responsive engine! would u mind sharing some videos and 0-100 timings ?
btw, can u please explain the following things in ur car?
1) Induction system
2) Pivot stabilizer
3) And what are ur views about ground wiring? does it enhance performance? stable rpms? im planning to get it done on my car!

bro, thanks alot... everything in my car is absolutely what came from honda in december 2003.

except for one thing: the clutch pressure cylinders failed last month... had them replaced from honda in 5k...

bro, for ur air filter, just ask the service station wala to clean it with pressure air hose when u take ur car for a service... simple.. change it after every two engine oil changes...

yep that certainly looks like the Honda City Cruise Control circuit diagram!!!

same 4 Cruise Control wires like Civic i.e the lt green(ground),pink,red+yellow, n light green+black with same funcs/protocols as civic!! same linkup procedure like civic at the brake light switch. just that the two wires from the brake light/brake position sensor will go to
1. Fuse 24(15A)
2. to ECU A42

the cruise wires need to be connected to the points 19,20, 22 at the tachometer!! and boy oye boy CITY will be cruising!! all those who wish to understand the Greek should visit my DIY thread and you will come to know what alien im trying to interpretate!!

PKDM city does not have a clockspring/cable reel rather a metal strip like that of Suzukis for contact to be made for horn out . i would recommend buying a civic steering/buttons and using a civic Oriel cablereel/clockspring as the connectors will conect straight into it!!!

@accord7362 andahmadbila Thanks . i had done a drag race with different cars like new corola Gli giving him a gap of almost 4 cars , civic 2000 stock giving gap of 1 car , baleno stage one giving a gap of 1 car and last corola 1.8 Sr crouse tonic stock model 2010 with getting a gap of 1 car but after 90 Kmph these all cars belongs to my friends and we have friendly drag races just to check my car .They also belive that this city is much faster.

@ahmadbila Induction kit is just like Intake although it has carbon fiber sheet which protects the filter inside from getting hot air from the engine it has plastic pipe rather then a steel becz steel gets hot and lastly it has a fan inside before the filter. 2nd piviot is a stablizer which provides proper curent to the engine and also provide better life to the battery and specialy used when you installed high performance plugs .
