Have been checking this thread since yesterday, nice discussions, nice display and info. Excellently run by Ahmadbilla bro.
Let me concede a bit of a secret with respect to my feelings about the City. Yes, I do turn my head a couple of times daily, when catching the looks of a well-shined Honda City on the roads. No doubts, it'a attractive from the front and the sides. Being a Pathan, my complaint has always been about it's rear portion, lol!
I used to own one in 2006, when the shape had just changed. Still remember the smooth ride, lovely soft steering wheel, maneuverability, snake pattern ride on the hills with smooth, stable, sucked-to-the-road grip. Sold it same year for a bigger vehicle.
Anyhow, as some of you may know, I need a replacement for the Altis 2011 MT/SR, recently stolen. I doubt there's any match, Altis 2011 is a class for itself of local cars of now. I'm just fighting the Corolla fever, may be able to do so and take a Honda for this time, may even fall back to an Altis again, can't really say.
My issue is Civic is up for a change. Altis is the thieves honey-comb. Could probably take a City for now, till Civic new version hits the roads. But, then again, another dilemma, coz I heard the City even is up for some interior change to beige from black, what do I do? Does anyone have an idea on when this change in City is likely?
Finally, kindly post a couple of pics of some of the best, modified City 2011's around here, with a slightly heavier rear portion, lol! How do I manage it a bit "beefier" there, without having to visit Shama Cinema, lolz! Any mods available, to change something upon the bumper, any spoiler for the trunk top, anything that could take the looks off those skinny, angled tail lights? (No offense meant)
Kindly suggest something that looks "decent" enough, no over do, I'm a family man, just wanna make it look good, in case I do go for it.
Looking forward to some suggestive inputs.
Regards.
