regarding city 2009 onwards

its average on CNG and Petrol? for both Manual and automatic?

any idea regarding price for Lahore registered 2009 - 2010 model.

It drives excellent on CNG... a friend had a new city on cng, i ve driven it. no issues at all. he had an idsi before and he says that city ivtec works better on cng, the loss of power is less compared to idsi. so dont worry, go for it but thats a manual. still, im sure there are no issues with city ivtec auto on cng as there were on the city vario... the CVT is out now... u already have replies from members regarding mileage on petrol...

My target is to acheive 800km in a single tank and InshAllah i will accomplish it soon....

I live in Wah Cantt and travel daily to ISB for my job, u can say like 60% is on highway containing braking and 40% driving within the city in Wah Cantt and RWP/ISB. AC is also working mostly:)

I have been noticing again and again in your pics that your idsi is idling at 700rpms. How you have managed so less rpms on petrol in idle. My car idles at 750rpm on petrol and little less than 700rpms on CNG. I have checked these rpm reading by an OBD II scanner.

Here goes the new dilemma I have been thinking alot about. I have the 09 Auto varient, and sadly I made the mistake of changing the profile to 195. Its giving me around 10kmpl in the city and 14 on highway.

Now as per ahmad bhai, the mileage should improve after 10k. But i've been thinking, if i downgrade to 185, it should rise up by atleast 2kmpl in city. Plus the Yokohama db (that I plan to get) would be a bit more silent. The cost of downgrading to Yokohama db 185 is 15k.

Now the advice that I humbly seek from you fellows is, that is it really worth it?? I mean simple mathematics indicate that i should save 0.017L per Km and thus would require to atleast travel 8500Kms to start getting return on investment. But the fun part is, I have only travelled 8000Kms in 3 years.

Assuming that a set of tyres last 75k on average, what do you guys suggest? Is it wise to switch to lower profile?? Please do share your inputs.

janab aap apni gari k baarey main "touchy" nahi hain...

yaar, jokes apart, ur idsi is tuned to idle at 700rpm on cng... thats why the idle rpm on petrol will be a bit higher than that... Fahad bhai's car is on petrol...

Mine idles at 680 on cng and around 720 on petrol... doesn't make much of a difference to me...

Dude, u've put the best answer to ur query in ur own post...

People like you who drive less than 800kms in a month, IMO should not worry about fuel average. More or less, it does not effect ur budgets to a cosiderable extent.

People like me whose cars are driven like 4000kms intercity, and another couple grands on highway, have these worries...

Just enjoy the extra grip... don't change the profile. Won't make much of a difference at all.

My vtec city is driven like 40 kms a month. So, even if a drive it sometimes,I push the limits... (H)

I have an issue, City 2011:

The needle was on the 2nd last line from the bottom. I fill it up 1000rs and noticed the position doesn't change at all. Drive it around 50km and the gauge comes down a little. Fill 500rs up more and its still at the exact place. WTH is going on :S

bro plz gude me bcz i am aalso planiing to get the side skirts and the rear lip spoiler, there are many availaible in the market, but m all confused, some say go for ABS plastic stuff and the bolted ones, some say tht high grade fibre is also ok, so alll confused what to do, and as for the rims, what fuel avg do u get with 16 inch rims, bcz i am alsoplanning to convert to 16 inch, and how about the rims, dont want any chinese rims, would try getting japanese stuff, but lets see......
and is your side skirt instaleed by drilling....???
btw i just canceled my nav system i had booked city with, planned to get cng for the same price.....(seeing the prices of petrol everyone around says its a goood decision, so again fingers xed to see if thats the case...)
but have plans to get rear view and dvd touch screeen bolt to bolt in my city....can any body suggest the price of tht..........and the final thing , i may not install the side skirt(though they looking good on ur car) but i would definately change the front grilll to mugen........

yes mine side skirts are installed by drilling holes because all the silicon tapes in the market were fake. tried the silicon tape on my lip spoiler but it did not work, its price is 50rs/ft. waisted 250rs worth tape in the experiment, then somehow i find the orignal silicon tape with a guy. he had only 8 ft.
i'll suggest you to add modula grill insted ov mugen grill, i'll be getting the modula grill and fog lights shortly.
i m thinking to get a navi gps as well but the sound quality of these aftermarket navi gps are not that much good

yes if u sell em on very 1st day they will go for around 16, i ve sold mine altis euro star tyres after using em for few hundred kilometers they were sold for either 12k or 13k in market ( sorry forgot the exact amount)

yaar u r right but drill gari mai hooti hai dard kaheen aur hoota hai...
and as for the stock tyres r u really sure thy are for 16k....bcz max price offered here in pindi is 10k, tht to after a lot of discussion and fight...
ok and how about the japanese rims, a friend of mine in peshawar suggested to get them from there and thy would be availaible or max 15 - 16 k and tht too 16 inch, what do u recommend...???
