two questions

1. what is Honda City (2011-12) tyres offset ?

2. some ppl say that this car despite being quick on the flats is sluggish on hikes, i mean keh it struggles on hikes in murree and other places. is it true ? answers are solicited from the Ivtec owners please

bros plz help me regarding Honda City 2011 head lamps, i am actually not satisfied with the amount of light, so planned HID but someone told me its not got and thigs would get even worse if it isnt projector, so planned to go for better Halogen lamps, i was planning to get Phillips Xtreme Vision H4 lights from Uk, it is costing me around £ 30, so kindly tell would that fit in honda city 2011 or do i need to get some other one, and will it greatly improve the vision?? and plz guide me on Fog lamps too, can i have 6500k - 8000k HIDs in Fog Lamps?

It seems like You need some Help! Well i would suggest you that You need verryy Greater light You Want! Which is'nt so Cool! If you've noticed Honda Accord CL11, Mercedes & BMW Head Lamps ( I mean Factory Fitted Looks ) they're having White, Slightly purple & Different Colored Extereme Less Iching light & its not too much Brighter or Irritating like Other Non-Reliable Small Companies HID Kits are.
Well the PHILIPS one U've mentioned Dosen't have White light its Pale like the Simple Halogens

I would Suggest the Following ones to give your car Lamps Factory Fitted looking Light Instead of Too Much Brighter & Icthing Effect

Diamond Vision 5000k White Light:

Blue Vision 4000k for Some Colored looks:

& also You can See it can Easily Fix in the Standard Bulb Socket U can Check the Pins:

Hello guys, well i am new to this thread Insha'Allah i will spend next 1-2 weeks reading all the posts from Page 1 looks like a great thread in collaboration of senior and experienced members.. Ahmed Bilal, Aamir bhai RL walay and many more hats off guys..

Well, Almighty Allah has blessed me with Honda city, em loving every single km done on it.. what a smooth drive Bought this car in November 2011 and almost 7500km done so far, but i had never washed the engine.

Today did DIY oil change + gaurd filter after 5000KM. Using it 3rd time.

What i experienced today was shocking..... I was expecting the I-DSI fuel tank capacity to be 46 litre....But, when i refuelled it after driving 737.9Km (135km on reserve fuel) the quantity refilled was 49.8 litres, it is same TOTAL pump which i had been using for refill so i trust them there is NO guage tempering. Still my car was going on so the total fuel capacity of the i-DSI seems 50litres + to me

As far the avearge goes, i am 50-50 after using Liqui Moly, here is the comparison:

Fuel Filled=5169.24 PKR (49.8 lit)
Distance=737.9 km
Avg kmpl=15.089 kmpl(it was nearly 20kmpl when i was using HONDA Engine Oil)

Cost/km=7.005 PKR/km (it was around 4.8PKR/km when i was using HONDA Engine Oil)

So, conclusion is

1. I-DSI fuel capacity is certainly 49.8 litres (if not more)
2. For Engine Oil i will give Liqui Moly another full tank and see if there is improvment, if none i will revert back to HONDA Genuine Oil as the mileage is pathetic on Liqui Moly untill now....

i used honda genuine for 3 years and my mileage was exceptional. 20-26kmpl, so if in next tank i didnt get results, i ll dont experiment and revert back to honda

never kept a honda in my life so have no idea. InhsAllah on delivery of my City i wud use it

You should not be disappointed from Liqui Moly it actually upsized your fuel tank which was previously of 42 litres.:P(H). 50 LITRES of petrol is insane and I think your car had atleast 2 litres of petrol because a half litre oil is in the fuel filter case and if thats not filled the pump will not work plus a half litre is there in the injection lines upto the injectors so I think if the tank is full empty it can go till 52 litres which is exactly 10 litres more than what company says. strange:S
