hmmm, well bro there is no such thing as a vaccum leak, without any apparent reason. Has ur engine block ever been opened? I mean the gasket thing? have u experienced an engine heat up issue recently?

If all of the above is NO, then the issue is with some ball bearing in ur car's engine. do try putting some good deal of grease under the charging belt. \

And donot tell me that ur car has lost the engine protection shield, present underneath the engine bay. Cz with out that, mud tends to stick to the generator rotary and makes it produce a squeaky whizz sound.

I have the protection shield installed and it is in good conditon

Put 50 - 100 ml in a month or more in it also regularly change coolant after 6 months

Also removed the belt and started the engine but sound is still there
So not the issue of dry belt also

Yesterday went to Rahimyar Khan and was back today 6am with full time AC on with 3 persons. It was approximately 1200 kms drive with no issue. Went on petrol and back on CNG. Not a single issue except that whistling sound which comes in idling AC on. Not loud but one can listen standing nearby

hmmm. As yer saying that no issues have een there with ur car, I think we can safely assume there is no vacuum leak.

BUT, do mention if u feel ur car a bit underpowered in any way. there could be another issue, like valve seal damage with ur car. Symptoms are dropping rpms, unstable idling, underpowered drive, when one releases the clutch, the rpms drop but the car barely moves.

do you hear the sound ONLY with AC on? If yes, then u probably need a new AC clutch bearing. Its life is done.

If no, then, well, can u make a video of that sound? so that the vague idea so far becomes clear?

One thing which I noticed is that while driving on petro especially on third gear i notice a little jhatka and nothing else noticed
rpm on idling are stable but when the AC starts along with the both fans i see a little fluctuation in rpm. other wise stable.
Will try to make a video in morning or at night with less atmosphere noice. and will post it.

now the question arises in mind how to go abt cleaning the car. i dont want to get it cleaned by the service station guys as they use weird dirty cloths and wash the body with the same cloth with which they wash the tyres and all. i wud prefer doing it by my own hands. so please guide me how to go abt it. i m not too much of a detailing freak. just wanna ask wat is the procedure i shud follow, and specially pplease guide me abt cleaning the engine bay (the degreasing stuff and all). thanks

well captaan sb, msg received and acknowledged. Btw, I took my city to kaghan/naraan with 175/70/R13 tyres in 2008 and 2010.

never been an issue for me. one just has to be careful on the asphalt less barren patches.

both of the times, when I came back, my city sounded like a lamborghini due to the dholki hitting big rocks and getting torn. :D:D

Yesterday, passed a speedbreaker at 20 kph, was racing, didn't realize there was one, car hit it hard, AND AGAIN, sounds like a lamborghini. VROOM (H)

Na mera bhraa... This year roads, sorry i take my words back there is nothing which can be called a road from kaghan to naran. 25 km before naran, crazy drive ......

Glacier was cut thru some 500 m before Naran and the cars were going thru the stones kept across the ice freezing water..... The temp was in minus there...... and there was no road rather 1.5 feet depth which was managed by kept the big rocks ....it was the biggest driving moment of my life.....how to keep both the tyres exactly on the rocks:P

I am planning to buy a used 2010 or 2011 honda city on cng.Seeking a car with mileage around 20,000 kms...I have a few questions...I started a new thread aswell,but oh well...

-What is the main difference between 2010 and 2011 model city,kindly list all the differences with regards to interior,exterior etc

-What is the normal petrol and cng average of 2010,2011 city.

-what should be the proper market price at this moment of manual and automatic 2010 and 2011 city.

-Finally i want to ask that if i want to run the city on cng should i go for automatic or manual city...

-I want to buy this car for my family, so fuel,cng economy is what i am looking for and that is why i need advice whether to buy auto or manual....

If someone who owns a 2010,2011 city would be kind enough to answer all my questions i'd really appreciate that...

2011 is toally out of ur budget n 2010 will be petrol luckily u will get cng 2010 in this budget
some minor diff like trunk lite exaust finisher arm rest in rear seat center console

Track was blocked by land sliding and glacier just prior to 500 m from Lake Saif Ul Malook, June 2012. Machines are working to get it cleared and we walked from this point onwards(H)

Yes.... Have to cross this machine from right and it was some (6.2 feet app and our i-DSI from side to side is 6.1 feet app, we did measure it from the measuring tape onsite) wide only and on the right side it was deep depression, plus it was steep slope and you cant slow down or apply the brakes.... dont ask how but somehow by the GRACE of ALLAH ALMIGHTY i was able to cross this ... all my family was praying that we can cross this (having 4 ppl on board and 50 + kg in the trunk).... btw it was on the way to Shogran....

Shogran from Kewaaii is some 3000 feet height just in the space of 7.5 km.... So steep slopes are expectable..
