as per honda city sales lahore honda dont install cabin airfilter in any car i.e city or civic its very strange
i also check my new corolla and cabin airfilter is there

I perfectly Remember when the City i-VTEC was launched it was Priced 13 Lacs & Xli was of 12.70 Lacs & City Dosen't have Some Smaller & Very Simple Things like: Trunk Light & some other simple stuff, don't remember about them now.

Soooo sorry for being away but i ve been toooo busy here with some stuff... have been travelling a lot... around 2000kms in the past 10 days. plus, the heat , classes AND on top of everything, the new format of PW has been keeping me away from the thread Apologies to all those to whom i havent replied in the past few days...

also checked from one pw bro who got delivery of his new city and
he also confirms he purchased it later from honda fort @rs1000

There has never been a cabin air filter in any Honda since as far as i remember, atleast all the cars from 2001 onwards. dont know the reason i dont think its cost saving as the cost of filters would be immaterial. may be the filter reduces the a/c "throw"

the SAAEENNN detailer you talking about i.e aka usman bhai is my detailing "ustad" well i am not pro level detailer and still learning just due to my age i know these all my younger brothers give me extra respect and love

about dirt crap in ur city's emblems, try very sofy baby tooth brush, dip in car shampoo and softy rub ( apply on cool surface under shed and many soft rubs better than few hard rubs), once its clean than maintain on reguler basis by usuing same process but with shaving brush.

about cleaning of honda front grill, interior cabin ac grills etc take 250 ml water add 1 capful of car shampoo ( good economical one is armorall ) and use dipped shaving brush to clean them. in last give only water dipped brushing.

again appreciate ur kind words and just one request dont use word "sir" for me as muje bachpan ki sari maar yad aa jati hai school main sir ke hathoon or murghee be nazroon se ghoom jatey hain well i assure u i will not mind if u consider and call me bhai

I see... so, baby tooth brush is the thing i need. great tip for cleaning the a/c grills. there are heaps of dust in there and i ve tried everything i could but failed Garmi boht hy, aj kal tou im driving a super dirty car, the heat is simply unbearable
as for sir, hahhahaha, we ve all been through all that n although no more murghees or murghaas but im still going through it anyways, thanks for ur posts in the thread Ahmad bhai

guys lets c if i get a reply on this one,

i have city 2k, and its blower fan behave like this that after operation of like 1.5 hour or so it starts tripping just like ac compressor trips, it will trip off and shut downs ac with it, it will take a couple of minute rest, and then automatically kicks back in, will run like another 10 minutes and then same cycle, just feels like its controlled by a thermal switch or something like it, any body have any clue whats going on or they have faced same situation in their old hondas

ahmad bhai, i never ever took away any honda car from showroom unless they installed the filter in front of my eyes. Its NEVER been there in any car I got, 2002 civic, 2003 idsi, 2006 vti oriel, 2007 reborn ivtec, 2010 reborn vti oriel and now this city 2012.

Ur city was a surprise, otherwise we would've surely advised you to get it installed the moment they hand over it to you. get it installed asap from a honda pit stop as its summer and AC use is must.

If we talk about city it is one of the good cars to be used on Pakistani roads. It mileage is also better than other cars. this is my personal experience i bought city back in 2008 and it is performing well. one of my friend guided me to try online site for buying cars, and i got benefited from my friend's suggestion.

My city idsi 2007 is driven 106k. The problem is, it is badly missing on cng and stalls when brake is applied. While its fine on petrol. The cng mechanic says that its igition coils (3 front and 2 at back) are not in good condition and they are leaking current. So they need to be replaced. Should I change them? Its throttle body is already serviced.

ohh realy they dont have trunk light ??:o God its so simple and necessery thing hehe, well in my corolla they have installed cabin air filter and even trunk light, i will check my city for trunk light
current booking price of city base modal is rs1488,000 and hopefully revise them once facelift shape wil launch soon

ahmad bhai last evening i installed this filter in my city, well i notice very minor air flow reduction but i think its good for long life of ac.
honda 3s dealers selling @rs1000 where as i sorced from montgomri road lahore make denso @rs450 both are same quality chinese made just packing differnce
