Have shifted to City, bought a new city yesterday from Honda,
I have basically shifted from Gli 2010 to City 2012, just because of increased theft rate of Xli/Gli in Islamabad,
Let's see how it goes, i am still confused that if i did wrong or right !!

I am not sure about resale of city as i have been keeping Corollas since 2002. Plus the driving experience and braking plus road grip is better but City is not comfortable as far as seating is concerned plus it is also not that spacious,

as far re-sale value city also develop very good market here in pakistan
wish u all the best and use some quality wax, good car shampoo and microfibers to maintain ur new ride skin

just my little add
once u use fully syn oil than u cant go back to minerals ( goggle it ).
i got inspiration for syn oils specialy mobil 1 from dear amir bhai red lady wale and i am now fan of this oil.
what i heard on pw differnt threads syn oils gives best results on new engines and negative results on old
cars may be one reason of dis-satisfaction of my ustad-e-muhtarm usman bhai as his city 100k on odo

ofcourse everyone has own liking disliking and cant force one, i am just sharing my experince to my dear
brothers in good faith

it says in various other sections that you can not only revert back to minerals, u can even mix two diferent types of synthetic oils together. furthermore, in my own platz which i used to own, i have many times swapped between fully synthetic to mineral, with absolutely no difference at all

problem is the availablity of genuine Mobil 1 from islamabad, and also the damn warranty thingy at the back of the mind. i m desperately trying to find the email address of Honda Japan to launch an official complain but i just cant seem to find it anywhere on the net, which is, actually pretty strange

Ahmad bhai, excellent avg so far, it will improve after u change to mobil1 FS and mileage touches around 5k kms.

P.S, I see u aren't buckled up, please always use seat belt.

she arrived home, pix, hmm after a week, for a week im letting her stay away from detailing, i feel the car isnt even a month old and it is recommended to avoid waxing new paints for atleast a month in order to let the solvents evaporate, wesay bhi nazar na lagay

I might sell this and go for a Gli 2012, i have made my mind, i am really not happy with this ride
Anyways, it has costed me 1495,000/-
How much do u think it can fetch ?

Sir thankyou for ur sharing ur views about the car. May ALLAH keep both of ur cars safe from theft and all other bad things.

Let me assure u that the resale value is excellent BUT "ONLY" if u keep the car in excellent condition. people are ready to die for excellent condition Hondas but the ones which are not well kept lose much of their value. on the other hand, Corollas can be sold relatively easily regardless of the condition and they also fetch relatively good price even if they arent in good condition. so, dont worry

City is certainly very nice car to drive, acceleration, stability etc are lovely. the suspension is a bit on the harder side, thats why the road grip and braking etc is good. everyone dislikes the hard setup at first but slowly, u ll start liking it.

the worst thing, as pointed out by u and many others, is that the car isnt very spacious. even the city idsi had a roomier cabin

getting the car was disappointing. when we were checking the car a guy was caught stealing a fuse tweezer, apparantly the factory had forgotten to install it with the fuse box and it was left in the car's driver side box. the cheapo saw it and attempted to steal it but was caught by my brother who later inspected the fuse box and returned it to it's correct place.

now we just discovered that the car is missing some tools. the dealer guys (city sales) were insisting that the car comes with just these tools, we called a relative who confirmed that his city came with these tools. apparently our relative got the complete toolkit but no mats, really disappointed

Hi , how are you? Yeah its been a long time I posted but still I have been observing it regularly , I've been a bit busy first with my exams and then preparing to come to Uk. I am away from my car from the past month and will see it on 23rd Aug . Its in use of my relatives lets hope it stays good . What about you , how are you ?

Ahmad bhai you are right. that is what the general assumption is. but i personally never believed it to be true. i ve had long debates with people over it and no one has convinced me so far. after all, oil has to lubricate. thats it! and both of them are oils so i believe even if they mix up, there wont be any chemical reaction or anything.

i think it shud be enough to drain synthetic properly and use the mineral oil for 500kms less then normal, so as to drain all the remaining residue of the synth oil earlier.
thats my personal opinion... quite possible, flawed one
