sorry for late response frm my side, i was too bzy for a couple of months to visit the thread.didnt even visit pakwheels regularly.i apologize!

as far as response of other members is concerned, let me tell u that we have discussed almost every damn thing about the car.frm the size of tyres to the major engine tuning job etc.so all members know its all been discussed. all u need to do is read 2-3 pages daily to get a complete overview of the car.

As far as the mechanic problem is concerned, i cant help cuz rwp isnt my home town so i dont know ANY mechanic.u shud contact rwp honda owners on other forum too to ask them wat u want to.

Ok i need to know something. I am buying a honda city vario 2005 at a good price . The car is in good condition and has NEVER been driven on CNG. The only issue is that when i put the car in D from P(parking) there is a slight noise. I went to honda and they said that its because the gear oil has not been changed and the issue might be because of that. There is no noise in the reverse gear and there is no noise or jhatka while the car is on the move. I only hear a voice when i put the gear in D. Can any one help me with this ?

I am interested to know if any one has done anything about missing trunk light in new city, I mean some after-market bulb or something else... its a real drawback when it comes to use the trunk at night

city lover and owners of the new city 2010 one whts it like when comparing to a 2010 xli corolla iam thinking of either a corolla xli or a city manual last time i had a city was in 2005 and it wasnt tht powerfull rather dull and slow driven a friends 2008 city didnt like it either the new shape does look good in a way but wht iam really interested in so to have some decent overtaking power atleast and space in boot and rear seats!! xli lack abs which is wht deters me but it does seem spacious!!

I've noticed the road noise in 2009 City is noticeably more than the last model and other 1300cc cars. Specially when driving above 60km/hr. Suspension is nice but not as tight as corolla. Overall body does not feel as solid as corolla's. But then it is 2lacs cheaper as well (compared to Gli).

it is much faster than the old City(idsi),its an i-vtec producin 100hp,which is ample for takin down any Gli,Xli(both old & new),1.3 Lancer etc,boot is xtremely spacious,more than the older city plus it has ABS too,so accordin to ur preferences,City suits u more than Xli

just wondering if city 2000 rear drum bakes can be replaced with disk brakes, i have'nt seen really one around ever, if anyone have done it or have some input in this regard plz share with me all the bits involved

sir i havent seen any city with 4 wheel disc brakes but im sure u can do this conversion to almost any car.i have seen 95 civics, charades etc getting them.so i think it SHOULD be possible.

brother i'll check my mechanic if you can discuss it with someone and came up something, do let me know, infact i am having an already planned visit to swat, and i want to dig something from their local market, all the JDMs and UK, USDMs are there in form of NCP and good deal can be made on spares

wat about the stock braking system? u feel its not enough for the car?

stock brakes are absolutely good, i am happy with them, i am serious about this thing in next couple of months because it would be what i should call a real contribution to car,
