same here in lhr.....there were a dozen of them available at the showroom in all colors ...i asked them whether atlas honda is gonna change the rear lights but they assured me that they have no such plan in near future....

If you want to get the lock repaired. Go for it. But I had heard from someone that anyone will be able to open the door easily if lock is repaired.
Well lock of whole car will be changed.
Price of locks is 8k. and 4k labour.

you're right dude .. for the time being i got keyless entry installed but planning on a visit to honda to see if they will replace them under warranty or not.. thanks for the help though

guys today i noticed a very teasing sound in my city 2010, it seems to be coming from the steering end of dashboard, it sounds like two wires are getting shot together but only starts after 40 KM/h speed & dis appears if speed is reduced.. very low sound but is teasing if you are driving on a quite road.. any ideas on where this might be coming from ? or what might be causing it ? i cant smell anything getting shot though

UPDATE on this.. I went to the three best electricians in F10 Islamabad, all of them told me that this was an issue even in the latest City Aspire there are some small metal pieces (Patries) in the steering wheel that start making this sound & there is nothing that can be done.. one of the electricians told me that he had tried a lot of things yet no luck... n Luckily everyone doesn't have this issue just a few of the cars :S

If anyone finds any way to fix it please do let me know as well

I have city 2012 and I'm facing the exactly same issue. Bro get it done asap. Otherwise it will stuck totally and door wont open.
My car's lock is stuck and I'm not able to open it by key. I'm using keyless entry.
I have talked to honda classic people. They said We will replace it's lock under warranty. Talk to them. They might help you in this regard.

i faced the same problem, i changed the key with another stock key and now that key is working perfect, so try to use second key of your car.

oh that freakin annoying sound! i have that in my idsi too!! it wasnt there until about 6 months ago! i even applied grease on it but it didnt help. i plan on removing the steering wheel, washing that plate/piece with petrol, cleaning properly and then reapplying grease. might help...

Bro i hope u must be fine ...yar i was using petromin oil from last 2 years , now its not available in market . I used to change oil at a regular interval of 5000 kms . Please suggest me oil , i read on abv forum mostly people are using Caltex Havoline @ 5000 kms.Advice requested

Just installed fog lights in my city idsi.
At night i checked that both lights are going sideways...... one is more concentrated towards botoom of car and one is more concentrated towards extreme right.... they ****** cut the bumpers for this purpose. How do i set these fog lights now?

Bro get it to any good electrician, they can adjust it out for you from the back side of the fog lights.. there is a small screw that needs to be adjusted for this purpose, but it also depends on the way its installed, if it was installed incorrectly then it might not help a lot

well, the fog lamps are designed to throw light at almost 180 degree angle. i.e. u can see into a street at ur either side without having to turn the car. i kinda like it as it really enhances visibility. they are also designed to lit only the 10-20ft area in front of the car. they dont stretch as far as the head lights do. In the pix i have posted on that page, u can see from the small quarter window to the right, u can see the road is well lit. if thats wat u are referring to, its completely normal.

the adjustment can only be done for up/down. theres a bolt below the lights for that. but check if the light seems to be fit in its place and not awkwardly tilted to either side. if its not, then its okay...

no petromin in ISB? that strange... im getting it here in sgd easily. anyways, havoline formula is equally perfect oil and 5000kms is also fine. though if a car is old, say, 150k kms or so, reducing the range to 4000kms would be better.

n bro, no idea about the suspension sound. the only thing i can say with guarantee is that the sound will, eventually, be heard even with the passengers in the car once suspension starts to wear, it wears fast. it could be anything, rubber padding above shocks (best guess), control arm (chimta) bush, steering rack assembly, cut bush or sumthing else...

The sound which u guys are referring is of torque converter or something like that. Its a small bolt under the engine. It needs a bit of tightening just because of this piece i had my whole suspension setup changed to brand new but nothing worked than at last my mechanic tightenened it a bit and wallah its gone. Hust one turn is needed if u tighten it more the steering will become hard and eps will show errors. Try that and let us know here hopefully u will have a piece of mind.

And yes ahmabila after watching ur pics i can say the only settings now i need is a bit of screwing my left fog lamp as its too much down.

hey bro. I'm using genuine honda oil 10w-30 in my city 2010 from the very first day. car has clocked 70k kms. I've heard from some reliable resources that Honda people is providing lowest grade oil to their customers. Is it suitable to switch to Havoline formula from genuine honda oil? Will it harm the engine in any way? Or Should I stick to Honda oil?

Havoline 10w30 actually makes the engine less noisy and provides a smoother engine sound. Thats my personally experience on Steermatic and 09 Auto varient.

If you have doubts, you can open up the owners manual and confirm that the temperature ratings in PK do not necessarily require Honda's 5w30. Its an overkill unless you'r keeping the car in quetta or Chitral in the winters.

Plus even if you have clocked 70K, switching to a viscous oil wont cause any reduction issues.
