ok bro. i have already started searching go get them in good price with exchange of the stock ones.

just wanted to ask why the rear brakes are drum ones. i mean if front are disk then y rear are drum. is it for reducing cost or something related to safety. i dont have much knlowledge of the difference between the two.

the biggest reason IS cost reduction,that too with little compromise on braking power because most of the braking power is always on the front.cost of installing drum brakes AND cost of servicing them, both are lesser then disc brakes.so i dont think there wud be any problem.

and as for mentioning abs at rear, people usually think abs cannot be used on drum brakes, but it CAN be.this wud be the reason they have written it there specifically.

2. Thers no central lock and unlock button available to the driver with which he can unlock or lock all doors from the drivers seat...is it installable after market available anywhere the original one?
3. I dont like the stereo...but they dont have that imbedded DVD screen for honda city which is available in market for new corolla...basically need a dash imbedded 7 inch dvd system specific for the honda city.
4. Would appreciate any other good original mods if anyone knows and can suggest me.( im interested in central box in between the front seats...original rims...tires...anything good)

well bro first of all congrats on ur purchase.im sure u r enjoying it.
as for ur problems, yes, lights can be fitted into the trunk.take ur car to any car decoration shop n they ll do the job
2.there IS central locking in it.just open/close ur drivers side door lock and it will open/lock all the doors.
3.there are a few dvd screens available in market for city.many members here got them.u can find then easily at any audio system shop.
4.first thing,i wud say change the tyres, get atleast 185 size, 195 wud be better.then get fog lamps for the front bumper.it may seem theres no space for them but on the inner side of the bumper, there is proper space to cut the area n install lights,if u want to give ur ride a sleek n elegant look.install a lip spoiler to the trunk lid.it looks great.

1. Congratulations on buying such a good ride. However, I missed trunk light as well and want to install one. I asked Honda dealer about it, they said wiring is already there you only have to put a light there. i dont know why they only saved penies for 1.3 million. but this is how it is. if and When you install it then do tell me how much it costed you.
2. Central locking is through driver's side lock/unlock only. no seperate button as far as i know.
3. Looking for 7 inch DVD as well. What have I searched so for in Karachi, the Chinese one with USB port costs around 8000 without DVD player (its screen only) and 10000 to 15000 with DVD player depending upon options and functions in it. The original ones are offcourse atleast 20000.

1) no idea about the light.well, wiring is already done, for wires, for speakers too.u just have to get a light.probably u ll get an LED light in it, wud cost no more then a few hundreds.

1. i wud suggest u to get 185 sized tyres.to get the exact size, use this :- Tire Size Calculator

2. Theres no specific button for that, but u shudnt say its not CENTRAL

Since its under warranty so I would suggest you to stick with the stock sixe i-e 175/65/15.
Upgrading to a bigger sized tyre will void your suspension warranty.
You can get some good quality tyres in the same/stock size.
If you still want to change then 185 or 195 in 65 profile would be good.

dont know where u can get it from in peshawar.cost shud be around 1500-2000rs i guess.and it wud be without paint.u ll have to get it painted.

and for tyres, i perfer stability more then economy, so if i were u, i wud get 195 size tyres.and 195s wud probably put a very very small effect on mileage.as 20mm difference usually doesnt put much stress on engine.but if u want to improve stability a little bit with zero compromise on mileage, get 185. and go for yokohama, A drive, C drive or at the best, yoko DB(decibel).

2)Does it have keyless entry system?
3)For those of you who are using it in City during rush hours in your estimate what would be the fuel costs for 30km daily running within Lahore in high traffic areas?

well, brother i wud suggest u to go for city. i ve driven both of them and found city to be much better.

1) cant say, i dont think they will.but they may introduce a few extras, bumper lights etc etc
2)nope, central locking only.
3) 30kms a day is too less.u dont need to convert iit to cng.u ll be happy with petrol mileage.cant give any exact numbers but rest assured, city is the MOST fuel economic 1.3l car in pakistan ryt now!!!

For Interior the International City is offered in 2 Tone Colors like City iDSI but i doubt if they will bring it in Pakistan

There is no Keyless Entry System u will need to get an Aftermarket ChorLock preferably Steelmate

even with heavy pedal mine is about 11.7km/L and by Heavy i mean 80km/h in 2nd Gear sometimes
i have pushed to about 14km/L of Petrol in Karachi

Well I sort of agree with you.

I also felt the same that 175 is too small for City.
IMO 195 is the perfect size for it.
Even the Swift is having 185,s.
