Dear All,
I have booked Honda city face lifted version, and it is bank financed from Bankislami as i was getting very discounted rates from my company.
i need your guidance regarding some important points which are as follows.

Should i install Fog lamps and back door speakers from OEM Honda, or some after market speakers and fog lamps can do the job? From Honda factory these are installed for Rs.10000, dealership will do this in Rs.11700, what will be the cost of good after market parts?
I had heard that most of the dealers give some complimentary items like Top cover, Floor mats, Air pressers, on what items should i insist upon?
There is some package worth Rs.15000 comprising of Floor mats, Air pressers, and some other item. Should i get this ?

Any other important points which u think should be taken into account while taking delivery.
Previously i had Cultus to Corolla X to Vitz and now getting Honda 1st time, i Hope, i would be a better decision.
May ALLAH help us all.

Have you booked it? How long is the delivery time right now? I decided to add on the rear speakers and fog lamps, I found the speaks to be of good enough quality, at least enough for me, even though I am used to regular after market speakers such as JVC and Pioneer.

Will somebody oblige to reply my queries as above??????? i expected this fan club very active, but useful information for new buyers are coming very slow here.

I advise you to get only the fog lights only as the stock speakers arent that great and you can get much better after market speakers. The foglights would be factory fitted which will give you a peace of mind plus the price differnce from aftermarket fog lights isnt that much either.
As for the honda people giving you free stuff, forget about it, if you will ask from them then they simply ask you to get the accesories kit. They might give some mats which i got with my city and they are average cheap mats.
In the 15k accesories package you get good quality mats, airpress and a trunk tray. IMO the airpress are good because the fitting is really good. But you can get all of these things much cheaper aftermarket.

Yesterday I was at dealership, they informed that if someday want to get a car now get the invoice in 2015 than he has to pay 15000 for invoice delay and and undertaking for price difference if price increase and price may increase in jan between 20k to 40k.

Bhai, kis fraud dealership mai chlay *** thay, aisa kuch ni hay. INSHA ALLAH I am getting my car till 10 jan2015, without any invoice Delay charges. Instead it was suggested by dealership itself to delay ur delivey and than I put request.

Dear It was Honda Avenue Islamabad and it was not fraud as I was not there for face lifted city, so, he was not trying to get some money from me.

May b u r rite, but even than i could not understand this delay invoice fee thingy. were you asking for pre face lift version, if it so, then there should no chance stand for increment in price, bcoz it had already been produced.

15k is not fee, its own charged by dealership. For pre-facelift, I don't have to give undertaking as there will be no price increase.
