hello all. what is the price of brand new shock absorbers for HONDA CITY 05 ? any idea ?
Brand new lahori made are available. Front ones cost 6000rs and rear ones are for 6500rs. So total for 4 shocks is 13000rs approximately. I need as well if u or anyone else know any dealer selling Japanese than please let me know as well.
the back suspension of my car is perfect in ride as well as visually.. the front suspension have aged up i don't know why they should all go bad at once but in my case the front are becoming faulty.. the left side dust boot have also cracked up. 6000 just for springs aka coils or the complete assembly including the struts?
I asked rates on phone. I guess just shocks not springs. My all four are dead. Done 160k on odo. Must be because of 14 inch tires
i am using 15 inch and 115K on the odo... lets see i am searching for the Japanese one`s, if you come to know anything please do share then.

Not caz of rims atleast....i have city 05 and civic 01...both CNG and 147k and 156k km driven respectively...shocks are still like new...civic with 15 inch and city with 14 inch rims since start....even no bush,axle etc has been changed ever.
Than most likely the blame is on my swift adventures to Quetta with loads of luggage via Jacobabad and Shikarpur.

Did u checked the price of original parts from honda ?
Two years back I re did the same procedure and price break down is written few pages back. Honda 3S will give him quote of above 50K that's my experience.
Genuine parts are definitely expensive. 555 japan is second option and value for money. KYB is the oem supplier of shocks for honda city

And what about on board consumption figure on the odo?
On board consumtion varies from 13 to 13.6 kmpl cars odo is 59700
