This was my first experience with city, before i had gli. I will tell you my honest experience, the good parts as well as the bad parts. I bought this city in june 2012 and now about to sell it so i had this car for three years, and i was the only driver of this car. First the good part, the car has way better performance than xli or gli. Be it the accelaration or the breaks or the top speed(not sure about this one but city can reach 180 on motorway with light load.) Gli seems sluggish when compared to this. Handling is also better and the feel when you drive through traffic cutting and closecalls is something no gli or xli can give. Another plus point is the average. When you drive specifically to save petrol it can give you 15+ average(Islamabads traffic). And when you drive normally it can still give you 13+ average. Drive wise city is better than xli. But now to the bad points, Comfort wise it isnt. Xli or Gli has better comfort more space etc and you don't feel tired driving it. But on this car i had severe back pains when i drove through motorways(twice in 3 days). Another bad point was the need for constant maintenance. This car demands great care and maintenance or else it will annoy you with little faults like no power in second gear, brake pads making noises, bad average etc. Another bad point is road clearance. It will touch every speedbreaker if you have more than 4 people in your car. Apart from that there was no other thing that i liked more in gli. I hope you like this car as much as i did and take good care of it. It will never disappoint you surely.
