aoa everybody i purchased honda city 1.3 aspire and till now i have done about 550 kms but the lil LED screen is displaying merely 13.2 kmpl and im light foot driver... thats what my corolla was giving ... i purchased city that it will give me couple of more kms but.... is it ok or do i need to check with my honda showroom ??

Fill up the tank and make your milage meter to zero. Drive the car till atleast the half of petrol tank. Fill it up again from the same petrol pump. Now see what milage the meter is showing and also calculate manually, normally there is a difference of 1 to 1.5 km in actual to meter calculated milage. Mine is giving around 14, 15 in city with light foot and on off , 1st step AC. It's 4100 km drive. More I have also heard that milage will get better after 5000 km.

Experts on this forum don't think it's a good idea. :D:cool:, so suggest you run it on normal petrol but get it from some good reputed one. Different people have different thoughts. Some say mix it 50:50, some say 30:70, some are completely against it. Even some one was saying HOBC will chock cat converter bit early, don't know the logic. My suggestion is follow the manual you got with car, at least this is what I am doing. Cheers.

There is huge ammount of air produced while engine starts from engine oil cap. While from air breather pipe this ammount is so less. Means there is differnce of 10 to 100% ratio air comes from oil cap and air breather pipe.experts plz help

But at 2000 RPM there is lot of air comes from Engine Oil Cap and Gauge Pipe? so what is the reason behind air produced in engine oil cap?????

Bad pcv valve clean it with carb cleaner

yes, that is normal. AC load slows the rpm down and engine detects this and adjusts itself automatically, meaning now it needs more fuel to maintain its rpm.

Just checked, couldnt find such variation in my car. Rpm stays where it is i.e. right under 1k(slightly below that mark. . )

I was experiencing a similar problem, rpm used to drop while idling and during changing gears when clutch was pressed in exact same manner, it was auto rectified within the next second. Got throttle body cleaned and the issue was resolved

At idle with or without AC? In my case this only happens when AC is switched on.
Without AC idle rpm are steady as rock.
Got throttle body cleaned around 10k ago. Planning to get it clean on next oil change.
