I av same doubts..secondly there is sound coming wenever it hits jumps or rough roads..its very low and not sharp...wat could it be? wheel bearings?
well, this sound isnt from bearings.bearing give sound only when the car is on high speeds (i.e. if they are dead) this sound would be some cracked bush from suspension, if not something simpler like some pipes etc touching body or other parts.
btw, my own car has done 182,000kms and NOW i got the suspension work done.so its highly unlikely that ur car has suspension issues if its mileage is not tempered.
well i wana ask mr billa regarding a prob which i am confronting these days in my city 2006...the car has done around 55000 km, runs bothon CNG nad petrol....however once the car is used on CNG and often during reversing the car i hear this stranghe sound of garr....bt this is nt experienced on petrol......plz advice to as regard to the likly casue....ragrds alll
a sound from transmission on CNG? hmmm.. is ur car auto transmission? if not, then i dont think CNG is causing the problem.because cng is just an alternate fuel for engine, it has nothing to do with the transmission. but if ur car is auto, then a rough idleing engine can cause problems with the transmission.btw, in any case, if u havent changed the transmission oil of ur car, get it changed INSTANTLY (see main topic for schedule)
brother certainly there are many cars with extremely low mileage (i know a 95 civic, done just 27k kms :)) but the problems that hes mentioning shudnt occur at just 45k kms.and oh, nice to talk to u after many days
