Salam to all,

I am planning to buy city MT this or next week, Inshallah. Just need advice if there is any new trim or enhancement coming up in the city for which i shoould wait a month or 2?

I owe City 2008 , since last Feb 2010. The only problem i faced is the right window glass stuck up..I got its panel cleaned.. oiled but it stucks after 10-15 days.

Anyone has better idea how to get rid of this problem.

hello pakwheels, newbie here...

i love my old honda city 2005. got a brand new SUV already and intend to make this as my 2nd car... but ironically i'm still using this car almost everyday.

Salam all, new to the thread, have a history with 4 citys, first (when i was in o levels), second(during advanced studies) an fourth ( daily ride)and lastly fifth (dad`s car,strictly view only policy)generation as well. Definitely will upload pics soon enough....peace for now!

Welcome to the thread.good to know u ve a lot of history with citys.it ll be a pleasure to have u here.i also had my first city when i was in school.was 2001.it was a great car and is still, even by todays standards.looking forward to see the pix...

no sir, no new features are gonna be available in city now.very recently, they ve included the feature of having navigation/DVD screen in the dash with ipod connectivity etc, costs 50,000PKR though.

is the mirror completely stuck or it goes around 2-3 inches up and goes down on itself again?

ur car looks nice, i can see some small differences in the pakistani model and yours.can u tell us which engine ur car has? L12a , L13a or L15a? we in pakistan get only L12a which is a bit underpowered.
the best thing about city is its smooth and easy drive, im sure thats the thing which is making u drive urs every day.isnt it?

mine is only L13a idsi and it's just right for my not so heavy right foot :). 17km/L for city driving and 20km/L at the highway makes me forget my other car. and your right, the smooth ride and the speed (even though it is just a 1.3 engine, it zooms ahead of other vehicles when i want to LOL) is one the reasons why i still love this car.

last month i was in singapore and i'm happy to see there were still lots of honda city 2005 model running around the city.

Guys, need tips on my cars pick up.

I have city 2000 with stock engine. Facing pick up issue at the moment.

I m planning to change plugs, filters, throtle body service, tuning etc. Pls let me know wat else I can do to enhance pik up.

Apart from pick, car is getting light jerks when speed of car is reduced. Any idea wat could be the possible issue.

i am hopeful what your wrote will take good care your problem, in my case for same model throttle body cleaning and spark plug gap adjustment works in between full tuning, another thing regarding pick up i wanna share, my machine is on cng and it was like choking sorta situation every thing was done but no use, then taken to cng mechanic which simply replace all flexible pipes in Rs.150 and pick came back, infact it was bend in pipe which caused pipe lining from inside to crack and causing flow restriction.

You didn't mentioned about the type of fuel u r using??I mean the problem is on petrol or cng or both.But in either case things u plan to do should get her back the pick.If symptoms remain the same then do let us know.
I do my car's tunning myself including TB service and tappets adjustment,there is no blockage of air flow in my car,so the difference of pick on petrol and cng is quite less.

guys i have a 2005 city vario( automatic ) on petrol. my car has done only 44000 KMS.

meri car mushkil say 150-180 KM chalti hai HALF TANK mein.

almost rs 1200 mein half tank hoti hai fill

what seems to be the problem???

also, idle mein RPM kitnay honay chahiye city kay??

1200 mai half tank...:o,yani almost 14 litre mai half tank means 30 litre total capacity of tank...:O...I thought vario's tank was bigger.

some special reason for it? coz its not normal for machines on gas

Special reason yeh hai kah Car should be tuned without blocking any air, the venturi is already doing that job by restricting more then 60% of air.2ndly,whenever u drive on petrol,ur avg drops to the floor.3rdly, a frd has blown his engine due to this,he was driving on petrol @ 170 km and piston rod snapped because engine was not getting enough air.

lets just forget about the cost it takes to get the tank half filled.

i want to know why its does only 150 - to 180 km with AC on in half tank?

is it a good fuel average?
