So i want to share my experience of Honda City.
We bought Honda City 1.5 Aspire Prosmatic brand new in jan 2013 when 1.5 engine was introduced in City. After reading specifications i was very exited that such a powerful engine having 118hp in a car like honda city will be very fast.
Bau as soon as i took the car out of showroom i noticed that the car Acceleration is very very pathetic and also the car sounds like the engine is over budened on high rpms. I got the car checked from Honda dealer ship but they told me that all citys are like this and have same Acceleration i also drive my friends honda city 1.5 and yes its Acceleration was also same i.e very pathetic i also done 0-100 on my car in 2013 when it was driven only 10000km. And at that time its Acceleration 0-100 was almost 14s. So i accepted that now i have to drive the car like that
So i maintained my car regularly from Honda Dealership. I got my car tuned and get my car Cat cleaned every 30k km.
But 2wk backs i got my car tuned at 1lack 6thosand km and while cleaning the cat found that upper cat slightly broken and moved down from its position. While the second cat was fine so i removed the 1st broken cat and you cant believe what happened after that.
The missing that my car do on higher rpms gone and my car Acceleration becomes up to my expectation yea after cat removal car Acceleration becomes justifed now my car goes from 0-100in 10.5s.
I was driving my car all these years with such a faulty cat which honda pk puts in all the citys.
Belive me every 1. 5 city AT owner should remove honda city 1st cat
