Thanks for the help. This shop is not listed in their website, neither is the chinar express lube in blue area isb who is an authentic distributor. Anyway, I am at the workshop waiting for ustad gees expert opinion on quality of oil. Valve clearance inspection is due at 40k. Will get it done today and most probably the problem will resolve

whole market is full of fake oils esp in karachi - for myself i only buy oil directly from Metro stores who have original ZIC/Havoline/Guard/Shell oils, or order directly from Caltex/Shell/PSO/Guard stores only (from Daraz) - not from any xyz seller selling same package on discount. Guard's oil filter can be purchased from any shop or from their own store at Daraz . any mechanic will change oil and filter in front of you for 100 rupee labour.

My city 2014 was parked for almost 3 days. Today I started it and its check engine light was on. It remained on while going to and coming back from my university. In the evening, my dad started car and check engine light was not on. Should I get it checked?

Today in the morning, the idle rpm immediately rose to 1.5 on cold start. What could be the reason?

My car has reached 44K at ODO. I have been routinely changing:
Engine oil
Air filter
Oil Filter
& cabin filter
Tyres swapping
What else is routinely needed at this milage?

your brake pads still have some time to go but of course depends on your braking habits. Inspect it at oil changes.

Brake and clutch fluid (if manual) should be bled every 3 years or I think 60k,whatever is first.

It's manual. And it's 4th year of purchasing the car.
What about the visible rust? Is it usual at this place?

Not sure. I think maybe excessive water on wheels during washing may cause this.

Guys the valve clearance aka tappet adjustment of my city 2016 MT is due but the ustaad je specifically told me not to touch it till the car gives any trouble. Not by even honda 3s. So what's your take on his opinion. Plus what are the signs and symptoms of clogged injectors.

At every 40 k
Atf (if auto)and fuel filter replacement is needed
Inspect your spark plugs change if required
Inspect throttle and catalytic wash them if needed
Fuel injectors cleaning

Ustadd je is right in terms of tappets never take fazool panga because its a professional work only 2 out of 10 can do it perfectly adjustment is not easy better to drive
These usttads or technicians are also in 3s difference is only they have to work on honda orders honda staff is not imported
Car starting problem low pickup low fuel mileage are the signs of bad injector
Better get them serviced and check by machine not a long process

How much driven? There is no need to do anything extra unless and untill needed.

Tappet ko tou hath b nahi lagana if under 100k driven jis ka muje idea ha.
Spark plugs after 50k if they give problem.

Tappets done physically. I didnt do it even once untill i sold my car

I am facing a few issues with my Honda City 2010 AT if anyone can assist it would be much appreciated.

Firstly the eps feels a bit hard not too much but it can be noticed that sometimes it is quite soft whereas sometimes it isn't what could be the reason for it? Secondly the engine sound in initial gears is rough I mean it is not smooth ( not sure how to describe it properly ) but it sounds rough has anyone faced this issue? can getting it tuned will fix this issue?
