The guy went to UK after selling the car
Well I am thinking to go for the compression test
Please let me know if you will find one.
You are right that first I have to check for engine number but I could not find the number where it should be so trying to find the engine number because it was matched by one of my friend while purchasing the car, its on the registration book
Please get in contact with the person and ask him that is it possible to buy a anual ecu from the imported lot alongwith l12a engine
For L12A1 engine, written L12A1 is easily visible from top on engine block on gear assembly side.....for engine number you need to look further deep on the same side....

sellers always go abroad after selling cars!!!
check engine compression, if its good and you see smoke on startup then change the valve seals. Get a manual ECU and install it, japanese models had 2 o2 sensors and a cat.
You would need those or an o2 emulator to fool the ECU
Even dont trust themselves. Dont bet your money on someone else decision. Search yourself and workout the item you intend to bought yourself. Simple. Manual ECU + Manual Head Assembly. Other than that if you only have white smoke this means headgasket is gone. it can be changed easily and reliably
get a new engine just costs 10 k
Mil he na jye 10 k ka kahin.. if that was the case it would be heavily used to ale generator

sad to know about your story, hows your car working now. Have you changed engine or get them repaired with manuel ecu??Let me know the situation
I sold the car. I tried my best to fix it up but I could not and then sold it at a loss of almost 100K
I think this was the right decision, even if you had to face loss. I hope you didnt spend much for fixing the problems. Had you replaced the engine and all, it would have costed you somewhere around the same, plus time and stress.
