honda thinks more about its pakistani customers than toyota. that is why they have given auto trans in city. in pak traffic is so bad that auto tranny is a must for comfortable driving. plus toyota thinks that airbags are a luxury item, only altis has an airbag and that is only one for driver, i read somewhere on this forums that resale value wont save your life in an accident which is so true. toyota will keep selling this local assembled crap that they have badged as corolla coz people are buying them. its like how honda makes their bikes. keep making same 40 year old cd70 without any major change (except for CDI back in 90s) coz people are buying them just coz of resale value. If resale value didnt infact dictate everything in pakistani market then we would never have had mehran selling like hot cakes.

civic topline models has two airbag but atlis has one.
airbag is considered luxury in pakistan if not than the toyota should have given 2 airbags.

Mr. President/Only Member of toyota Fan Club you better not talk about safety... corolla doesnt even have BREAKS. you pay 1.3 million for a car (XLI) that cant keep itself straight during emergency manuevours and doesnt even have breaks that actually WORK! if u talk about the 1.8, sure as hell its gonna need an airbag once it starts accelerating on its own n turning the way it wants to! faulty master cylinders, faulty EPS, faulty accelerator paddles.... what kind of SAFETY is this????

@6037550 you are so right man, the best car in the world is corolla. everyone knows that a xli is much faster than a 1800cc civic but they dont want to admit it, plus xli has more speed. it can reach speeds of 300km/h +. Honda city and civic are all crap cars, suzuki also makes crap cars. the best car in the world is corolla but the problem is no one from this forum to the engineers who build corolla seem to agree to this FACT. so 6037550 brother u must continue your crusade against such ignorance and make the world and toyota see that corolla is the fastest and the most technically advanced car of all time.
p.s. for all those non believers out there i have video proof where a corolla has infact beaten a bugatti veyron but i have very conveniently lost the video.
