All tyres comes in wrapping. And just to make sure about the month and the year, You have to read this code on tyre. This will shows you that tyre is manufactured in that month of that year.

I saw advan DB at Gulberg P block near mini market shop. They were of September 16. Rate was 8k.

I still can’t believe tyre club offered you rupees 2k for 20000 km used tyres.

Yes, Always check this code before buying new tires. And, sometimes shopkeepers loots you on this. This happened with me. As he didn't had 185 he was trying to convince me to put 195. When, I refused, He tried to 185 with a 2016 manufacturing. But, Thankfully mein ne deakh lia aur mein bach gaya. Late is better than scrape. ️

September'16 is not good. Minimum to March - April'17. So, then you can enjoy till next year with no hassle. However, 8k for September'16 is over priced. It must be 7.2k - 7.5k not more than this. And, I have visited two shops in Gulberg. There is one next to Shahnawaz Motors (Official Dealership Of Mercedes Benz) and the other one is opposite to Gulberg Mini Market. They both offered me only 2k for my old tyres. And, J. Rasheed offered me hardly 1k.

I found Continental tyres. But, one of my friend has installed these tyres. And, he is not much happier with his decision. That's why I didn't took much interest in Continental tyres.

No bro I'm still waiting. Yokohama tyres are mostly out of stock in Lahore these days. I will share each and everything in this forum when I get them. And one thing more, I have a road trip to Hafizabad - Islamabad - Abbottabad - Mirpur Khas - Islamgarh - Jehlum. All these cities having different road conditions. So, I'll share my review as well.

i talked about BluEarthA (AE50). its a different tyre from A Drive.

Do check it. its the highest rated tyre in comfort zone from Yokohama.

First thing first, may be it might be sounds little bitter to some member
Due to the road condition in Lahore nowadays, Don/t go for extreme high end soft tyres, i repeat don't go for high end tyres due to massive constrictions on the roads. I know they are good but their life decreases rapidly due to the road conditions
Through Personal experience i will tell you the brands
Pirille (Heard positive about it)
Michillen (Personal experience in Civic 2010, Vitz 2009) Awesome grip and extreme Soft
Yokohama (DB Advan) (Heard that these are perfect for the roads in Pakistan)
Continental CC (Heard good about these)
Bridestone (Good grip)
Dunlop (Good grip but little hard)
Nexen (If you don't like someone suggest these to them)
Eurostar (for low budgeted better than Chinese Brands)
Well, you can go for Yokohama Blue Earth or Dunlop SP. Go for the little hard tyre with good grip due to the sake of road constructions. After betterment of roads go for high end tyres.

Brother, I'm totally agree with you. You have shared very good figures. I have already used Dunlop SP Sports 480 in my Alto 660cc. They were much wider but lost the road grip and cause for a road accident. Then, I put Orent brand in that same car they were quite noisy. Now, I have my own personal car and looking for some best tyres for best results. I had a bad experience twice. Can't take a risk this time. I'll sure take your suggestions. UPDATE (1/1) : Today, I have received a call from the shopkeeper and he informed me that "Sir, our stock is now updated, You can come and select you desire size" I visited his shop after my university. And, Alhamdulilah -- I found my desire size which is 185/65/R15 (Suggested by many of you). Last week, Shopkeeper asked me Rs31k for these same 2017 manufacturing tyres. But, today he made our deal complete unprofessional. I wasn't satisfied with his dealing since beginning when I visited his shop. But, Honda City Sales suggested me this shop and many customers of City Sales have been upgraded their tyre from this same shop. So, I have to stick with this shopkeeper. Now, He asked me Rs32k and I said last week we commit in Rs31k. And he said: "It was a last week". I said OKAY!. With this rudely behavior, I decided to put these new tyres in trunck and should go to the Honda Dealership. And I did the same. Uploading...

UPDATE (1/2): I reached to Honda dealership (Honda City Sales, Kalma Chowk, Lahore). Talked with my mechanic and he referred me to someone who belongs to tyres section. He said he will charge Rs1000 for changing tyres. I tried to bargain but he said I'll make your wheel alignment for FREE. I said its should be included in this. So, He agreed to do in Rs700 labour. When, He was installing tyres I realised that 2 tyres are from 21st month of 2017year and the others are 22nd month of 2017 year. But, I think it's fine. Anyways, found another problem.
