Honda city upgrades, Facelift coming by end of April 2017

I came to know that seats, bumper and front grill is being changed from Honda Point and price will remain the same.
No airbags were communicated.
World wide there is only one facelift of every generation, Pakistan might be the only country offering two facelift in same gen model,
just start delivering!!!

Very contradictory explanations.Honda should immediately clarify the situation instead of just turning the deaf ear to customers after collecting the amounts.

The point is if you expect 60k they are going to iron hand 120k and if we expect 80k then they deliver over expectations and give us a figure around 150k , and even 60 k is too much! I'll laude Toyota indus as they gave you an airbag , a new meter , climate control, auto fold mirrors and immobilizer. On top of that they didn't even call it a face lift , mind you they could have extracted waaay more for this considering all this was for top of the line model while city is an entry level vehicle! Even mehran increased price considerably over just an immobilizer

I think I have figured this mess out! The upgrades on city like the airbag and immobilizer are directly interlinked with the brv! So city and brv can easily be manufactured side by side , they have the same platform, engine and now will share ignition and steering column and steering wheel , so hpnda is only cutting costs and playing safe . I.e : Upgarde to city at a benefit and if brv had failed which it didn't the loses would be cut!!!! God i feel like a genius now !

There's no post portraying launch of new city. Those posts are for brv.

Exactly. They are not launching new city so all this news about new model or facelift seems like a hoax to me

If they making minor changes to this model it means forget about new model of city ,,, at least for 2 to 3 years

I just read through the thread. I would not rely too much on guess work and speculation. It would be appreciated if anyone has solid information. The immobilizer is being installed as per the guidelines of the Auto Policy 2016-21. There is not much more to it. Maybe a few small cosmetic changes here and there. It would be categorized as a minor model change instead of a proper facelift.

The facelift of the current fifth generation city is already being offered here. Surely they wont create a all new face lift just for Pakistan for an obsolete model, also at the time when the next seventh generation city will be unveiled in 2018 and released worldwide in 2019.The main question is in 2018-19 will Pakistan get the six generation city or seventh ?
