considering the packaging of the belt it seems to be quite old... the belt is made from rubber and deteriorates with time... i got similar old belt for 700. but returned it and brought a fresh new belt for 2400.
Are you sure ? Cause I am also going to get my cars (exi 05) timing belt changed so I heard the bearing also needs to get changed along

Yes bro agree with that packing looks old but was really nice quality all the available stock on all main shops was like that... actually its the shop owner who love dirty nature..
Bro i also discussed that with my mechanic he told me its perfect no need to change as long it doesn't make cheer cheer sound or like that its all fine.. i did complete head and water system work i replaced all the parts such as water body,, gasket, Tb along other stuff
which gasket did u usedcard board or steel n for how much u got it
@chaudhary9 its Matto non steel dont go for steel as steel got rusted I had steel before n it was all rusted. Gasket comes in 900 rs ..

i bought this car from my brother in feb , he did head work along rings for me in last of jan. and within two months the gasket goes like this yes water was used but stll its too fast to get rust like that ,, if u check on ebay gasket steel one are coated with dark golden kind of color to protect from rust no such thing in pakistan

Your system should not have rust. use coolant instead of replacing parts with card board
