@hamadnajam...thanks for your help...if sending a scanned copy is troublesome then you can just take a picture of these 2 pages of maintenance schedule using your mobile phone and either post here or send me on my email...just got my car serviced today along with a change of all fluids including genuine Honda pre-mixed Coolant (blue colour with no water addition), engine and auto transmission oil, spark plugs and air filter. will post pix by tomorrow.

@muhammadmusa...I saw atleast 15 civic 2005-06 most of which ranged between 10-11.5 lacs. However even the best among them cud meet my criteria and were not in this pristine condition. which year is your civic and wat r the specs? People on this forum may want to buy if its in extra ordinary condition

@muhammadmusa...havent seen pix of your car yet so a bit difficult to accurately predict the worth of ur car. however if its a single owner, no touchups 2005 Exi M/T with 45,000km and considering that prices in lhr r higher than Khi, I suggest you should ask around 11.5-12 lacs and see the response.
Pl note that M/T car sells for about Rs. 30-40,000/- less than auto.

In Khi a pristine Exi M/T wud fetch a max of 10.5 lacs. the usually good ones sell for 9-10 lacs.

@muhammadmusa...well prius is an advanced vehicle in many ways particularly the ability to offer exceptional fuel savings due to hybrid. However it makes more sense to buy prius if your daily run is min 70km/day or more. else the fuel savings r not big enough to compensate for the extra price and maintenence cost of Prius.

Also pls confirm whether your car has height adjuster for front seat. I have not seen this in all civics, even orials. So wondering how its in my car (H). Do that mean its UG version???

@hamadnajam...my car is not UG version but has adjustable height for drivers seat. There's a knob which adjusts seat height when rotated. I think basically vti oriel (with sunroof) has this feature. It does not have to be UG.
I also got busy in last 2 days so cud not take pictures. Will do it very soon.
There's one thing though, I have noticed that the accelerator pedal of my car is a bit harder than some of the other cars I drive like premio and belta. Do u face this issue with your car?

Ya its bit harder than my previous city. This is, probably, due to the oldness of accelerator wire, which gets stiffer with time.

My civic still has genuine wire and i suggest you also to keep this original wire till the time its working fine.

I just had a chance to drive 2013 vti orial pros of my friend, and the pedal was very soft. But i can tell you its pick up was not better than eagle eye

Mashallah, its v clean and mint, awesome, congrats once again. So we got almost same cars with almost same condition ...

As promised, i am uploading the maintenance schedule here for honda civic (eagle eyes) so every one can take benefit from this.

@hamadnajam...thanks a bunch dude for your help...really appreciate it..yes v both have been lucky to get hold of pristine condition VTis which r otherwise very hard to find...With the help of this maintenance schedule, I plan to change all required parts and fluids at 50,000km interval to keep this car in its optimum mechanical condition. I already got the accelerator pedal lubricated and its much softer now. also changed the power steering fluid, auto transmission fluid and engine coolant (genuine Honda and good for 60,000km) which was due for a change. the car is running much lighter and smoother after the change of fluids. the maintenance schedule does mention that fuel filter should be changed at 40,000km. will chk if the same has been replaced or not in my car. once again thanks so much for your help. pl also follow the same manual to keep your beauty intact.

Ya probably its in fuel tank or below the tank.

Well, changing fuel filter beyond 40k depends on the quality of fuel available. It is the responsibility of the fuel filter to trap large particles in the fuel in order to prevent them from getting into the engine. Any large particles in the fuel could potentially cause damage to the engine. Large particles in the fuel also have the ability to clog fuel injectors, requiring that the injector be cleaned or replaced. Therefore, maintaining a clean fuel filter is imperative to the performance of a car's engine.

Keeping in mind the bad quality of fuel available here, i suggest to change it as per recommended time lines.

@shahabrk@..the fog lamps do not come in this variant (Vti oriel prosmatic) as a factory installed accessory..its an aftermarket gadget..since I want to keep this car in its absolute original stock form, I do not plan to add, remove or modify any item.
@hamadnajam...I have the exact same view on this issue and will talk to honda dealership soon..they did hint out that changing the filter is a bit complicated as the fuel tank along with other fittings (fuel gauge float etc) will have to be removed.
Will have another round of talks with them soon to have more clarity on this.

Mazher Bhai, can you pls confirm how much a good city 2005 will usually cost in karachi? Good mean mechanically sound but touchings can be compromised. Pls suggest price for both manual and auto.

I have to buy a city and if there is a substantial difference, i might think about buying from karachi.
