What mileage should i expect from VTI Oriel and VTI Oriel Prosmatec. One thing that caught my eye was that "22 km/l from '03 VTi automatic, with plenty of room for improvement " are u talking about prosmatec or a hybrid 7th Gen civic

Yes, I have achieved 22 km/l from my plain old, desi prosmatic with a 1.6 petrol engine. It requires a radically different style of driving; just driving with a light foot won't get you this mileage. Follow the link in my signature; that might give you some idea.

Thats for the auto, assuming you don't drive it for short trips frequently (less than 10 km each trip). Short trips will reduce that to 7 km/l with A/C.

As for hypermiling, take small steps: you will need weeks or months of practice before getting high numbers. For starters, setup your car properly - press up the tires to max sidewall pressure, and use the proper amount of light synthetic oil (5w-30 or less halfway on the dipstick). Most importantly, get some sort of real time fuel economy display; an ELM 327 clone and the Torque app are a popular, low cost option at the moment. It will greatly reduce your learning curve.

1 - the original key less entry system had auto lock on first brake and auto unlock on ignition switch off function? (my car has been equipped with after market security system yet the original remote works for all doors except the driver door)
2 - the reverse gear warning beep was available in Vti model? if yes than what could be the possible as my car does not make any beep on reverse gear?
3 - Any JDM or after market side mirrors with indicators are available for this model?
4 - Bilal Gunj shops for 7th gen

100-110 KM in full cylinder with AC on most of the time....cylinder is of 60kg

Since yesterday, my car (civic 05 MT 115k+ on odo) has started missing/knocking when the engine is cold. I have been using honda genuine oil SL 10w30 since the car came out of dealership

There has been no change recent change/work done on car which might cause this except that i gave it a good wash on Saturday (took 5 hours) and washed engine bay thoroughly too. I dried it and let it sit for quite a while before starting (cold start) but no problems, on saturday evening i drove it as well but there was no missing/knocking.

It only happened on sunday morning the first time. Now this morning again when i started the car, engine soon started missing/knocking at idle and even with a bit accelerator but when rpm is high, the knocking goes away. Feels loss of power when it is missing/knocking but after some time when engine has warmed up and i have driven some distance, it goes back to perfectly normal. This is happening on both cng and petrol

What could be it?

I can only comments for first two points.
1. Function you mentioned is correct. it works as you wrote. Auto lock on first brake and unlock on ignition off.
2. Reverse gear warning beep is available in prosmatic only both in exi and vti.

2002 Civic EXi Manual

Petrol: 12 to 12.5 km/L mixed driving

CNG: 175 km/cylinder fill (55 L). Max recorded is 196 km(250 bar pressure).

@ Usama. 2005 civic steering is by default little hard as compare to old and new models

as far as i know, they have HPS, power steering leakage is the main issue in this car's steering

Guys can anyone help me about front disc plate size? I want to change front disc plates from Kabli Parts. so what is the minimum width it should have.

if i remember correctly, it is 18mm.

Also make sure it is not bent. Secondly 18mm is the minimum, so if it requires machining then after machining the thickness should not be less than 18mm
