^ you are right, I think it seems to be a low maintenance, scratch-resistant color.
P.S I have also booked one (Non-Oriel) in White, though at dealership I couldn't find white to see how it looks in reality. It must look Okay, if not stunning.

I see both colours in new civic...white looking superb....silve is also good but white is gracefull...like 8genlast year i change colour from white to black in last moments and i think i was wrong...in 20120 i own orial in silver colour that was amazing no need to wash car for weeks n weeks but in black i must have to wash once in a week......White is superb in style n maintinance

CIVIC's drive is always awesome, starting from 1994 model...my reborn 2007 was black and this time also ill go for black most likely....
I can bet that its drive will not be any more better than previous one as engine suspension transmission all re same except the eps steering which is now lighter

Map lights and retractable mirrors
diff of 232k is worth paying on top if you like the add ons as it costs almost double to get these things if done afterwards. but if the addl things dont attract you and can live without them then go for the VTI. in the 8th gen it was much better to spend the extra 200k as you used to get Airbags alloys,retractable mirrors sunroof and interior lights etc. the VTI has all basic features like ABS,dual airbags,audio cons etc so honestly comes down to your pocket and pers choice
Airbags are available in non-oriel as well...one thing that i missed is electric retractable mirrors..

Civic I-VTEC PT is the best deal at this price....roads are not for auto cruise neither the climate is fresh for the sunroof here in karachi...after few months the craze of additional gadgets fades too...hence planning for IVtec Prosmastec.
