What if our Honda Atlas wait 2 more months and launch this civic in Pakistan, Alas!!!

Saw the letter Honda has sent to its dealers regarding no change in shape of civic since the model launched here is already a refreshed version of the American model and the refreshed civic in US is not for this region!

I have seen atleast two 8 gen civics in WK and WV series in Islamabad and website of Honda Atlas is also showing price of Old Civic (8 gen). Why is that, is Honda Atlas still carrying the old inventory or there is some other reason?

Atlas has still got a lot of 8th gen civics in stock. Thats why the prices of invoices of 8th gen were cut down by 150k Rs for a quicker clearance.

Maybe because they dont know about the cut down of prices or even if they do its their thing and its their right. After all they paid something for it they didn't get it free. They sell at thier desired demand or not is other case.

You're right sir, but as far as I can see, none of such cars are being sold, yet I would say as the stock of the new 8th gen is gonna end after all.

They've got a chance of selling at those prices after about a year or so cz clearly, 2013 is the year of 9th gen. After that, the craze of 8th gen will begin once again as the 9th gen would be on roads in good numbers already.

I know a person who bought 5 oriel prosmatecs after the prices were cut down. He says he'll save two cars as souvenirs and will sell the rest.

its just like u r asking Rs.40 for a share that is presently at Rs.2 only in stock market, just because u bought it for Rs.40/-, either sell it at Rs.2 or dont sell at all, theres no third option....

Someone said there were just about 100 units that were made available for that reduced price; and they were sold quick; investors bought those units...and obviously to make profit

well what i meant was that prices being demanded by 8th gen owners are un-realistic but they have every right to claim it so no complains,, but as a result there are no buyers at this price as someone very rightly said already that 8th gen resale will start after one year when the users will be ready to sacrifice 1-2 lakhs more after using the car for one year and at the same time 9th gen price will be much higher as the increasing trend doesnt seem to stop.. so presently the best option for 8th gen owners is to keep their cars and enjoy as nevertheless it is a very good car...

Thats what I am trying to say. They should keep it or compromise if want to sell. My point was that someone shouldn't be rude to them because they are intelligent enough to know their car's worth now.
