Honda Civic 2018 Steering Rack Issues

Hello Everyone ,
I bought honda civic 2018 brand new , my current mileage is 15,000kms only and i am facing steering rack issue , i took my car to all honda maintenance dealers in karachi , one of dealer said it will be change with new steering rack without any cost with help of warranty claim , i need suggestion should i use car after claim this rack issue , i am experiencing issues in reborn till now i changed my rack 2 times. Or this will be fix by honda so it will be perfectly working? What is your suggestion should i use it after that? Anyone experiencing this?

Claim warrenty and drive it

Claim the warranty and get the steering rack changed. Most probably, it won't be problematic once changed but if it isn't, keep using the car although some people have faced issue in new racks as well so it's more about luck to be honest. My 2016 Civic X 45k driven hasn't had the rack issue till now Alhumdullilah while some people have had it replaced in their 2017 and 2018 models 2 or even 3 times.

Hello everyone,

I have civic 2018 1.8 and just recently faced the infamous steering rack issue. Although the issue is not as severe as I have read here, but still i would like to get it addresses asap. Since its out of warranty since long, can anyone please share contact details of any PRO AND EXPERT mechanic who can get this fixed in KARACHI? I am new here and dont know anyone.
